Its a nice table, but little wobbly, also when you press on the lever, it goes up very fast, so be careful with it

We have electric adjustable standing desks in our home and thought this might be a good substitute that is portable for working on a laptop. (Xmart Medical Adjustable Overbed Bedside Table with Wheels Pneumatic Mobile Standing Laptop Desk Hospital and Home Use Rolling Computer Cart Movable Bed Table (80x40cm, White).) It is! And it's really useful as well for working in bed, as the height is easily adjustable from a sitting desk (even lower than that actually) to a standing desk height. This isn't electric - it's more spring-loaded/based. So you do need to push your weight down on it to get it to lower - it's not automatic and would be a bit difficult to do if you had mobility challenges and needed to lower the desk on your own. However, raising it is really easy - just a lever that engages with springs. (Note: I don't actually know if it's springs inside - maybe some other mechanism, but it has that feel to it.) This desk comes almost fully assembled - you just need to pop in some screws. It comes with an Allan key so it's got all you need right there. I like that there is a QR code on the instruction paper itself, but you probably don't need to consult it too deeply as it's fairly straightforward. This does have wheels, but they are plastic and they are tiiiiiny. I think it's OK on the whole as it gives the desk a streamlined look, but I would expect this to be difficult to move over thick carpet or if the top is over-loaded with anything heavier than a laptop and a book or two. But still, better to have some wheels than nothing. Overall, I think this is a great adjustable height desk for the price point!
