Great saw for the price!!
If you're looking for a good saw but don't want to spend a ton this is the saw for you. I bought mine almost a year ago and it has done everything I've wanted it to. We've had a couple big trees go down on the property and this saw had no issues. The only issue I've had so far is a stretched chain which is to be expected with the amount of use its had (around 3 cords of wood cut for the wood stove), and the pull cord broke but a replacement was only $15. Unless you're a professional logger do yourself a favor and save some cash by buying this saw. I've attached a picture of one of the oaks we chopped up.

Needs Lock Nuts for the Clutch/Chain Cover
This is a great saw for the money. I bought the 58cc/20" variety. It has great power but it is a bit thirsty because of it. It started on the 3rd pull right out of the box and runs great. The handle assembly feels cheap and I often hit the kill switch with my thumb as it is very close to the handle. My only real issue is keeping the chain tight and the cover on. My first use I lost one of the nuts for the chain tensioner/cover and the other came loose. It ruined the chain so I replaced that and tried again. If I make the nuts too tight the chain binds up. So I used a lock nut I had in stock and the remaining original one. My next use saw the remaining original nut loose and gone and my lock nut holding the cover on. Otherwise the saw is a beast. It easily cuts thick logs. It always starts easily and runs great. I would recommend it. It is tought to beat for the price.

Couldn't be happier. Fantastic saw. Ripps.
When I bought the saw I figured I would have to do some of those tune up things to get it ripping. When the saw came I had my wrenches ready to adjust the carburetor and possibly do some work on the exhaust. But I figured I would just start it and see where I'm at right out of the box. This saw started up right away. I did spray some oil and gas into the spark plug hole, but that was just to make sure it had oil on initial startup. The saw started right up for me and it ripped. Throttle response was instant and the Max RPM was very high. There was nothing that I needed to do. I ran two tanks of 25 to 1 and let it idle until it ran out of gas just for break in. The first time I had to use the saw it started up on the 2nd or 3rd pull and ran great. Factory chain cut through oak logs like butter. I was really impressed with subsequent startups on the first pull. I'm not a professional logger but I'm going to use this more than most homeowners. I'm going to recommend this to everybody.

Great saw for your money
Great saw for the money!!! I have other top name saws I have used for the past 30 years. Todays price $400 to $700 dollars and higher. As I get older using a 20 inch and larger saw too delimb down trees and dropping small trees my arms, shoulders, and back are killing me after a days work. As I started looking for a 12 inch saw I couldn't believe the prices of the big name brands. I came across the Vevor 12inch saw for under $100 dollars so I ordered one. Not sure what I will get but after receiving it I was surprised at the quality. I have made hundreds cuts with no problems. Today it was 20 degrees outside. The saw was sitting in a non heated building and start on the second pull . I guarantee non of my top name brand saws will start on two pulls.

For homeowners or light work, itโs a great buy!
I was skeptical because of the price, but this chainsaw surprised me. Itโs lightweight, starts up easily, and handles small to medium cutting jobs really well. Iโve used it for trimming and cutting up smaller logs and it gets the job done without struggling. Itโs definitely not a professional-grade saw, and you can feel that in the materials, but for occasional use itโs more than enough. If youโre expecting something heavy-duty, this isnโt itโbut for homeowners or light work, itโs a great buy. For the price, Iโd absolutely recommend it.

Good Light Saw
First, I was a little nervous when the saw didn't show up when promised. I then read the bad reviews regarding delayed delivery. But the saw showed up just a day late. So all was good. The saw itself was a gem in its first outing. Chain was sharp and saw light. Very handy. I did change the factory spark plug with an NKG as suggested by some on-line reviewers. Don't know it that makes any difference but the saw starts easily and runs good. Its all light plastic, so I won't expect it to last if used heavily, but I'd buy another based on its performance so far. I have much heavier and pricier saws but this one would be my favorite for small jobs.

You need to know
Overall, the saw ran great on the first 2 runs. 3rd run discovered poor engineering. I pulled the saw out and attempted to start it. After 5 min. of trying to start it, fuel was coming out of the exhaust. The switch was in the on position and the choke was pulled out. Didn't even hint on starting the whole time. Upon breakdown to remove filter and spark plug, I noticed the air filter was clogged by sawdust. That is not an issue I've had on another saw. Once the excess fuel was cleared and the filter was cleaned, it ran good. Couple days later I went to start the saw and the chain wanted to rotate. Discovered the clutch had failed. The hook on the spring broke. I'm currently in contact with vevor about the clutch specifications so that I can buy a quality clutch. I would buy this saw again, just upgrade/modify a few things. For $106, not a horrid buy. When the saw is running, it cuts pretty quick and the weight of it isn't too bad. I found on first operation, it was super easy to use. It started up within 5 pulls of the cord. I would say that if you don't know how to troubleshoot, you need to stay away from this saw. If you don't know how to break in a 2 stroke engine, stay away from this saw. If you don't know how to take care of a saw, stay away from any saw. Preventive maintenance well help, but doesnt help poor engineering. I do intend on doing some modifications and upgrades to help prolong the life of this saw.

I've been very impressed with Vevor bench and hand tools. I have a few of their tools and found them all not just a great value, but well made. Still, I was a bit skeptical about buying a Vevor chainsaw. I replaced an old Poulan with this Vevor and was blown away. Super easy setup and put it through a full day of clearing Maple after a bad ice storm. First pull start once it's warm. Runs fantastic. Doesn't bog down easily even when you push it hard. The chain did stretch quite a bit after a few hours of hard use but that's typical. Tools were included and came in handy to adjust chain and tighten the bar. Fully recommended. Incredible value.

Recived my saw in mail. First off the pull cord assembly wasnโt out together right fly wheel spring came out. After correcting and fixing that saw ran for about 20 mi a worked great lots of power. Then started acting up. Loses its gas wonโt stay running with nipping throttle wide open. Still waiting to get response from Vevor. One star for me so far will update later

Very pleased with this Chainsaw. Assembly was very easy and all tools needed were included. On first use i am impressed. Ive had some of the high end brands and this saw performs right along with them. I will be putting it to the real test soon with cutting firewood. There was some delay in delivery but that was out of the sellers control. They were very helpful in helping to get it to me. And for the price you cant go wrong. Thank you

Overall a great saw. I've ran 15tanks of gas through her. I'm going pretty heavy on oil. Maybe 19:1. Thing makes good power considering the heavy amount of oil. I use this 58cc in tandem with my other 62cc saw for milling. The little saw will do it with a sharp chain. It will take 90% throttle for about 8secs and a break for a few seconds. Breaks between boards. Pretty impressed for a low quality saw. I had issues with carb within 5tanks of gas. Contacted seller and the offered a partial refund for carb I had to replace. I would get rid of those "torch" spark plug. Put a quality unit in and slowly replace the junk parts. The core engine is decent. I honestly expected first day of milling would kill it. A Husqvarna of same cc woukd be $580. Figure $10/cc. Where there's no comparison. We all know instinctively that chinese units are junk. For a home owner, buy this saw. Great saw. Small issues. It leaks bar oil, it seems to leak gas over time. Drain them if not using. Other than that, mix your gas and go.
