Best investment ever
I used to live in Russia and everyone had a dashcam. Moving to the states I was surprised no one had one. People used to throw themselves on my windshield daily for insurance fraud, thankfully it doesn't seem to happen much here but its always good to keep yourself protected. The screen on this is nice and big, 7 inches, heh, and super bright. The touch screen is responsive and I like how it comes with a back up cam. Works super well.

Touch Interface is great and video angle is great, ease of install.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I purchased this and was able to install this in under 5 minutes as it went directly over my mirror. I like that as I can transfer this to other cars that might be driven longer and the seller even included additional straps if needed.Video quality is great .Touchscreen interface is great.Included wire is long enough to snake around the dash and hidden under the car mats.I am able to read license plates when slowing down the videos and its great product overall.I left my car in 96degree heat (not including interior heat) and have a high endurance card so that helps but issues with the product after a month of usage.Shahhere

Best I Ever Had
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This is one of my first times buying a dash cam, I can't really base it off pass experience. Though, I have been using it for a few days. So, let me just say, that this was one of the best ones by far I have seen.I do like despite it's large design, there is no obstuction of vision. It is very full and clear. The resolution is amazing and I had no problem seeing from front to back.It is even easy to install. I have never been the best at connecting wires, so it was best to find something very simple and easy to assemble. It came with everything I needed. Plus, I love the fact that it has an alternative power method than having to disassemble your mirror and connect it.It's a plug in masterpiece. So, it can be on when you want to use it and off when you don't.As for the features, they are very abundant. When I saw the features, I couldn't help but grab it for the price, and I am yet to be disappointed.- Up to 4 Display Modes- 1080p High Resolution- Auto Recording, Loop Recording- Gravity Sensor- Parking Monitor- Night Vision- Waterproof- Sensitive Touchscreen- Motion DetectionThe list is long and very immaculate for the quality itself. I have yet to use all the modes continuously.Though, I love the fact that they are at my control at all times. It feels like I have an upgraded car, yet I didn't have to pay $30k to get it.In the end, I couldn't be happier with my purchase and even without the warranty I would definitely purchase again. Thanks JEEMAK☺☺☺

Excellent camera. Worth every penny!
It came in a very nice secured box.Though I have not been able to install it in my SUV, I was able to play around with it using electrical charger matching the same required voltage. I am please with all its functionalities. This is above and beyond what I was expecting. I love it!Now, the only con I have is the cable for the rear camera is not long enough. I’ve tried to get help using product contact support option through amazon under product listing but sadly that does not work.I am really, really hoping this review will motivate the company to send me an extension with proper connector for the rear camera. Then I shall become completely satisfied and an advocate for this product.P.S the memory SD card does not come with it.

Best thing I ever got for my car
Packaging was solid and instructions are super easy to follow. I had the front and back camera installed in about 30 minutes. I love the touchscreen option to wake and switch camera views. It takes a bit to get used to using the backup camera, but that's true with any backup camera if you haven't used one before. I only ran into a few snags. 1st, I tried 2 different Samsung 32 GB EVO Plus cards and neither would work. I got "disk full" when inserting (having already formatted them on my PC and Mac for fat32). When using the menu to format them on the display, the format screen immediately disappeared or I got an error. Put in a 32 GB SanDisk and after a formation, no issues. The next issue was that my factory mirror was 12 inches and I had to offset the display to fit the front camera. Got a used 8 inch mirror at a local junk yard for free (the mirror was cracked, but that didn't matter since I was covering it up) and that did the trick. The last fuss I had was getting the card into the device. I just couldn't get it to click in with my finger nail. I used a flat small screw driver on my swiss army knife to push it down. In the picture above of the display unit, I was showing a comparison of the go pro that it was replacing and it was a good call to replace it.

Wow for the price!
I wasn't really looking for this when I came across this but I'm sure glad I did. I was hesitant at first, but glad I decided to buy it. I was really looking for an inexpensive dash cam, but having it integrated into a nice mirror and include a backup camera was what grabbed my attention. The first one I ordered was DOA, but I returned it, got another one, and took that second chance. I figured it would be some cheap components due to the price, but ended up being nicer than expected. The touch screen feature is really nice and responsive. When its turned off, its just a normal mirror, but you can still faintly see the LCD behind it. The screen looks very clear behind the mirror too. I figured the display wouldn't be as clear as it was but its not pixelated. The split screen feature is really nice too, and swapping between front and rear cameras are as easy as touching the mirror. The rear camera has to be ran through the car, but I found a grommet I could fish it through. The rear camera has a really long cord too, which was needed! Install was a breeze as the truck I installed this in was a small Tacoma, but I'm sure install time will vary based on the vehicle type and your own experience level. Truthfully, if my daily driver didn't already have a rearview camera, I'd buy a second one and put it in there.

Great quality hardware, easy to install & great imagery
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Initial Impressions. This is not our first dash-cam. We have purchased a few now, after realizing the value in having a dash-cam on your vehicle. This one, is for my parents Toyota Highlander. It appears to be well built and of really good quality. The included hardware is plentiful, and set up is really quite easy (with a little wiring knowledge if you are going to use the reversing camera)ProsReally nice mirror quality. There is a 7 inch touch screen monitor embedded in the center portion of the mirror which is noticeable but not distracting. It's really easy to install the mirror/dash-cam. Simply pop it over your existing rear-view mirror and secure it using the included rubber band-like chords. Plug in the included charge chord to your cigarette-type power outlet, and you're good to go! (oh, you will need to insert your own SD card as well)No initial setup required. I didn't change any of the settings and it worked flawlessly from the beginning.ConsIf you have greasy fingers (because you like to snack while you drive like I do!) then your mirror will have finger prints from playing with the touch screen while you should be driving. (yes, my wife made me write that)The reversing camera can be a little tricky to set up if you have limited wiring capabilities. (You have to tap into your reverse lights wiring, as well as run the chord from the reverse camera to the dash cam in the front)Would have been nice to see...It would increase the cost of the unit I know, but a blue tooth (or similar) setup for the reversing camera would be nice. Wiring the camera in is time consuming and requires a bit of know-how. GPS would also be a great addition, but would increase the cost of this item quite a bit.SpecificationsWeight of mirror (with SD card) 293gDimensions (overall) 76mm tall by 17mm thick by 29mm long (longest point)Length of dash cam power chord 11'5" (3.5m)Length of chord for reversing camera 19'5" (5.8m)Video screen dimensions 6 1/16" x 2 3/8" (6 3/4" diagonally)ConclusionOverall great quality and it is really nice to have a video recording going while you drive. As a paramedic, I go to accidents a lot and the police are always asking for dash-cam videos to use as evidence. You just never know when it might help you out - plus, it's really cool to be able to look back at a road trip or to be able to recall something you saw while driving! We can certainly recommend this dash-cam mirror and will buy another if we find a need.We find the video quality of the sample footage is not very good on Amazon so we post all of our reviews to Youtube as well. Find us as "Review Time" there for actual video quality samples etc. We will refresh this review as necessary, and as always, feel free to contact us with any questions or comments. Cheers!

I absolutely love this thing!
How many times do we think by getting such a purchase, especially at this price does it become worth it?Well, I will tell you that this is one of them!Suspect from the get go, but after receiving it, and then doing the install - well all I have to say is Genius!I freaking love this thing...So the instructions weren't that great, but since there is only a couple of things to hookup, it turned out to be quite easy. For those who don't understand the backup camera hookup, let me tell you that all you have to do is install the camera where you want it, but be sure to plug the camera in first before final installation, as you want to be sure that the border lines in the camera are lined up before final install. After you are good with the location, make sure you have enough backup light wire (Red) to reach your backup vehicle light. Also,. make sure that when plumbing the wire form the camera to the unit, you have enough to reach it. I have a suburban, and had to splice 3 extra feet to the wire. But that was no big deal...Anyway, if you can't find it easy to install the Red backup wire, just tape it off and bury it with the other wire. The only thing this Red wire does, is when you put the vehicle in reverse, it automatically brings up the rear camera, but if not installed (red wire) you can just hit the icon on the mirror, and it will come up manually. With all of this said, I am now purchasing another one for my other vehicle!Hope this helps!

Excellent Mirror Dashcam for the price
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. My wife's car is almost 10 years old and does not have a rear view camera, and I thought if I was going to install one, I might as well get a dashcam with it.What you may like1. The mirror quality appears to be very good. It is also large and much better than the built-in one2. Installation of the mirror is simple using the rubber brackets provided3. Lens is adjustable, not a huge lot, but enough for you to cover the area you want it to4. Quality of the image is quite decent for price.5. Has all the key features that a dash cam should have (read the product description)6. Reasonable priceWhat you may not like1. Installation of the backup camera isn't as simple, especially if you have to try to figure out how to run the wire, actual installation of the camera, connecting the wires to the back lights etc. can be daunting if you haven't done it before. It takes about 2 hours to do it.2. If you are used to flipping your mirror when driving at night to reduce glare from lights of vehicles behind you, then you may not like the fact that you can't do that with this mirror dash camHow can it be better1. sell it with a wireless backup camera instead of a wired one.

Works great
We've been testing out this camera for a while and haven't had any issues. The install was a little bit of a pain at first, as we weren't sure what to do with the wires in a jeep, but once we got it all sorted out everything worked great. The mirror simply latches over your existing mirror so you don't need to worry about removing your old one. The rearview camera is little trickier so if you aren't handy, I would recommend getting some help. All in all its a great product, and definitely worth the price.

Its alright
It works as a Mirror dash cam well however installation can be a bit tedious and now my car is lined with many wires trying to get the rear camera to work. The straps attaching the new Mirror to the original one can fall off. The weight of the new Mirror also moves the original Mirror so that they don't stay still. Overall it works however there are some downsides.
