Small shower stool that is well built but might want large for disabled, larger person.
I gave this stool 5 stars as it meets my needs nicely and is well built. My wife and I are not disabled but we are in our 70s. I added a steamer to my standard 60 x 30 inch (that's rough opening, finished tub a bit smaller. Rather than going with a collapsable nylon camping chair that usually comes with those portable steamer tents, I wanted a medical grade shower chair and this one fits perfectly. It assembled fine, no tools needed. Don't tighten the knobs until it is all together to help align holes with the aluminum struts. I am sure it is strong enough to hold 360 pounds (I am average size). But, it only has a 15 inch base of support. I am an occupational therapist and I have used a large shower bench stool with two feet OUTSIDE of the tub that gives a sitting surface that the patient uses to slide over to the inside of the tube for a shower (you just arrange the shower curtain around the part of the bench that is outside the tub. That is the safer way to go. But, for me, I just wanted a stool to sit on when I enjoy the steamer and t works great for that purpose.

Great quality
Best shower chair Iโve used in the 10 years Iโve been in a wheelchair itโs sturdy and perfect fit for smaller tubs it was easy for my teen to put together and I love how quick it dries also the feet are very good rubber so you donโt have to worry about it moving or slipping while getting out

Sturdy, lightweight and adjustable!
A very sturdy, easy to put together chair that I bought for my mom. Doesn't slip or slide and it adjusts in height. My daughter in law is using it during her pregnancy. Affordable and easy to transport or break down.

Back rest makes the difference, well done
We have another type of these but it is a little large for the shower. That one didn't have a back rest and we realized my mom loved having one so it worked out perfectly. Minutes to out together and it seems solid. She can move it around with no problem. If you don't have one with a back rest give it a go.

Versatile chair
I love how versatile this shower chair is. It would fit in my basic old tub as you would expect to orient it, but I decided to use it sideways and removed one arm so I can sit facing the spigot even though the chair faces out of the tub. That works best for me, and I really appreciate that I can remove one arm but keep the other one. (You can remove both arms if you want.) The feet suction to the bottom of the tub and the chair is very sturdy. I feel really safe. It was easy to assemble with no tools, as described. And I feel like it's light enough to lift but heavy enough to be good solid quality. I did have one issue after using the chair for months. A metal washer inside the feet was rusting. Of course a shower chair shouldn't do that. Perhaps if you move the chair to "un-suction" the feet, the water will drain and it won't rust. But after my back surgery, I was not moving the chair for a few months. When I did move the chair and noticed the problem, I reached out to customer service and they agreed right away that it was an issue - and that they would take it up with their manufacturing team to fix for future chairs. They also resolved my problem promptly and politely. They even offered to send me a new chair, but I didn't need one. I just used some rust remover and replaced the original metal washers with aluminum ones. The customer service person covered the cost of the rust remover and washers, plus some extra for my efforts. I was very pleased.

Medical Shower Chair
I like the chair but I was disappointed when I was putting it together that 95% of the parts were not labeled with stickers (the alphabet on them like a,b,c,d etc.). It took me longer to put the chair together because I had to try to figure out from the picture what part attached to the other part.

Sturdy but hard/ painful to put together
I am giving this 3 stars because the chair is sturdy and nice but the setup was horrible. For quality: nice sturdy hard plastic chair that doesnโt wiggle. The padding is weird. It is a stick on foam that I am questioning if it will actually hold up in the shower or not. It is not silicone. The setup: horrible. Idk how they think a disabled person was going to do this easily. The screw knobs made it 10x harder to use than a wrench because there was no torque. My fingers feel like an 90 yr/o woman with severe arthritis at the age of 25 after putting this together. I had to take several breaks. Also, whoever wrote the setup manual had you put on parts first that made it impossible to put together the next parts. I am convinced a sadist made the put together manual. I had an easier time assembling my bed frame that took 1hr than I did putting this chair together as someone who frequently builds their own stuff. I honestly thought that it would be easier to put together and was highly disappointed and in pain. It took like 30 mins of pure torture to put together. I questioned if it was more worth it to let myself pass out in the shower than put together this chair. So if you are like me and also have issues with joint pain in your fingers, just pay more for one that folds open. It is not worth the $10 savings. If you are able bodied and can put it together easily, probs fine just read the full manual first.
