NOT within 'normal' filament tolerances. Ninjatek is just a sloppy company all together.
READ THE LISTING, there is a good reason why the seller doesn't show a tolerance range for the diameter of the material. That reason is: not one measurement taken at any point in the first 30 ft. measures thicker than 1.641mm.The spool was wound so sloppy that I unwound the first 30 ft by hand just to untangle the knots for a test print. I still haven't done the print because it seemed thin, that's when I broke out the calipers. So now I am here (Amazon) looking for the sellers specs. and SURPRISE! there are NONE! (as of 5/19/2020)Packaging was sloppy as well; loose plastic (like it missed going through the heat shrink stage) over standard Ninjatek cardboard box, inside roll wasn't wrapped at all and was accompanied by one little silica pack.I really don't understand why Ninjatek is such a sloppy company, I have read so many reviews where people rave about how great the product is. The only good thing I can say is that it looks pretty nice, if there was even a chance it would actually run through the printer, I think it could have made nice looking parts.

great color, terrible packaging
I shouldve looked to see how bad it was wound up before pushing the filament through, maybe a bigger nozzle wouldve helped too, but this is not rolled tight or remotely even, lots of tangeling, I ordered an ezr extruder, after untangeling almost the whole roll, it did an ok job, needs way better packaging, I suggest putting in food dehydrator or oven and untangle before use. Would not recommend getting this if you cant print slow or have an extruder that cant handle it, love the color of it though. Im using cr10v2 with ezr extruder printing at 240 nozzle, 40 bed and 15mm for speed and no retraction, had flow at 115 for this octopus, Id suggest 105 though, this one was too stringy

Pretty much just terrible.
This product sucks for my printer. It's definitely stretchy, if that's what this company was going for. It's too stretchy. It wrinkles up inside my bowden tube and it just doesn't print at all.Do not buy, unless you have your printer's settings adjusted for this type of filament.
