They are much thinner than most velcro tapes I have used. I am not sure whether the tape will damage painted walls or other surfaces once removed, I chose not to risk it. I am using them to fix door mats. The hook and loop strongly secures to each other but the self-adhesive tape is slightly on the weak side. They lose stickiness after a period of time.

There are any number of uses for these self adhesive Velcro-like fasteners. The adhesive for each side is 3M so should stay stuck. Thus far I haven't had an issue. The hook and loop fastening is very strong, so I could see a situation where the force needed to pull them apart is more than the force necessary to pull the adhesive off of whatever you've attached it to, especially if they've been joined with some force. If you're going to be constantly separating and joining the fastener you may want to use a few panel pins if that's possible to help the glue out or offset them so that you're not connecting over the full length. They're more appropriate for anchoring rather than situations where they're constantly being joined and separated.Note that when joined these fastenings are a couple of mm thick so this may not be appropriate for some uses if you don't want a bump under whatever thing you're anchoring.

This is really strong hook and loop rtape - the two halves hold together really well, to such an extent they are quite hard to seperate.The fixing is 'semi-permanent' and as such likely to remove paint if you need to take the tape down - using gentle heat may help.Because the two halves of the tape hold to gether so well I would suggest allowing the adhesive to cure fully before hanging something on it.Curing time for the adhesive is 50% in 20 minutes, 90% in 24 hours and 100% in 72 hours at room temperature - the 3M site also suggests rollering the tape to ensure maximum adhesion. There are also several other hints on preparation to be found on the 3M site.It's great for stopping things sliding around on tiled floors but try it in an out of the way place first to make sure it can be removed without damage.Being as thin as it is allows it to be used almost invisibly.Whilst it is not the cheapest on the market it does work and holds things very securely when applied and allowed to cure.

The hook and loop strips are a good size, and the quality of the material feels strong. Functionality-wise, they are very similar to the well known brand Velcro. The 3cm x 10cm strips suit my purposes, and I expect I will be fine for other applications. In terms of thickness, it is just under 4mm thick with both sides attached. Pulling each side apart offers strong resistance, and they certainly keep together even when bearing some weight, such as a 30cm x 30 cm picture frame, which requires two. The adhesion on the sticking side is good, and it stays stuck despite the hook and loop being separated several times. I have felt confident using the tape, and everything has stayed in place. Each pack comes with 12 tapes. The tapes have effectively stopped my car mats from moving around. Overall, I think this product is good and deserves a positive review.

These are great - the adhesive is very strong - as is the hook and loop fastening. Great value for money and cut easily if you only need a smaller piece.

Very impressed with these velcro pads.Super strong, velcro is reusable time after time. The sticky pads keep them in place and even in direct sunlight(I have them fitted on a motorbike) they haven't peeled away or moved at all when pulling the velcro apart.Highly recommended. Decent quality and useful size.

I liked the large size ( 5cm by 10cm ) of these adhesive strips and that you get twelve of them for the price.They can be cut to any size easily with scissors and the adhesive is strong.The interlocking hook and loop Velcro like surfaces grip each other firmly when they are brought together and can be separated againI have used one of these (cut to size) to fasten a small shelf like thing to my desk and It has done the job well and I know I can remove it again if I wish without damage to it's surface.I'm sure I will be using these handy mounting strips for fixing items to walls or other surfaces around the home quickly and without drilling . I think they are a good product and recommend them.
