16x20-2" Wide Signature Reclaimed Rustic Barnwood Wall Frame

I can't say enough about Scott's Rustic Wood Frames. First let me say that when I began purchasing these for my artwork that I sell at craft festivals and display in my own home, because of the reasonable price, I assumed they came from a production plant in a foreign country where often times the quality is overlooked. But no-they are exactly as described. Real reclaimed, rustic barn wood. This is wood that sits outside, is rained on, had holes in it, is forgotten until someone like Scott turns it into a frame that adds the perfect authentic touch to just the right piece of art. Anything natural, thoughtful, aged, philosophical....work that has heart, that's what belongs in these frames. I have ordered dozens of these, including one that will be hung in the office of a prestigious museum and one that he custom made for me with no extra cost! I will continue to order these frames since they my work sells so well in them. I've even made a little card with the AMAZON info about the frames for customers since so many people want to know where I got them. I know this is a glowing review, but it's frustrating to see people give Scott a bad review when he delivers to them exactly what is explained. As a buyer, you just need to know what it is you want and read his info and you'll be very happy.

The wood was frayed in a few spots and that made slivers pretty common when getting anywhere near it. However, after having this hanging on my wall for the past several months, I've decided to upgrade my review. I have fallen completely in love with this frame and our home wouldn't have the same feel without it. I used it for a 16x20 poster of the Majave desert in Arizona (our home that we moved from about a year ago and all feel great nostalgia for). The picture in it is beautiful but as I was sitting here staring at it just now, it occurred to me that the picture wouldn't have nearly as much of an emotional response if not for the gorgeous (if slightly unusual) frame that showcases it. The frame is sturdy and has made it through a local move and daily life with 3 children completely intact.I admit my own fault in not seeing the true value of this frame when I first received it. It's a piece that has only gotten better the longer we own it and I've completely fallen in love with it. I would happily order from this seller again for the uniquely beautiful product they provide!

Went really well with the picture I wanted framed. Was just what I was expecting. Only downside is that on the back they have those metal pieces you bend up and down to secure the back on. These have broken in the past...not on this frame but others I've had before. Overall really happy with the purchase

I really love the look of this frame, I was a little worried about the hardware to hang the frame. But so far it has been holding up.

The rustic feel of the frame may not work with every photo or piece of art, but with the right artwork, it looks great. I replaced a thin black modern frame with this and love the final product. The 16x20 size came with a thin acrylic pane, instead of glass, but it was well sealed with plastic on both sides that I had to peel off. No scratches and I feel it doesn't distort the image. The attached photo shows there is even a bit of glare from the light fixture that was on nearby, just like there would be with glass.

I love this frame, have old family photo's that look great in this frame.

My ex is discovering a talent she never realized she had. Her photos framed in these wonderful frames create the perfect presentation.

I don't like the fact that you get this beautiful frame with out glass. So if you have laying around this will be the perfect frame.NO SERIOUSLY IT'S A VERY BEAUTIFUL FRAME. AND I WILL USE IT. JUST MAY NEED TO FIGURE OUT WHERE TO GET THE GLASS.
