Amazing gel pens! Bold and vibrant! The fine tip is perfect& easy for adding details to my coloring pages! Only complaint is the case has a strong “cigarette” smell not sure if its from delivery driver or if it was a return. But all colors are there and work beautifully! They surprisingly dry fast and don’t smudge after.

Just got theses and so far they are fantastic. Plenty of ink and really thin tip. It doesn’t take long at all to dry. The colors look good on black and white paper, so you could say they are versatile. Easy to use and feels like they will last. It’s a great value for what you get. Plus it comes with two sample picture in black and white.

I do enjoy using these pens for the most part. The ink flow is great and so is the colour payoff. My only issue is the colours selection. There are a lot of blues. There are a lot of purples. I wish there were more pink tones. I think there’s only like three reds maybe four there’s two maybe three orange colours. I wish we had more variety because I like to do do notes and each word is a different colour and it’s going in gradient order. Basically a massive transitioning all colours and tones rainbow, but there’s just not enough of some colours, Yet some have a massive selection, and the colors don’t flow into each other well. For example, the greens lots of options but not there’s not really many good transition colours for between colours. Also like in the blue colour options there’s a lot but there are also some that just don’t transition at all from another colour and it just looks odd if you put it in as I was transitioning through the blues I noticed that there were two or maybe three blues and like did not consistently shift to the next colour.. Maybe I’m being too picky but that’s just the only quarrel I had. actually, I have one other issue. There was one pen that I just could not get to work. It was a dark blue and it would not write for me at all. Also on the topic, a lot of of the pens when you first start riding with them it’s good to start them out on a scrap piece of paper because they do sometimes skip a little bit when you first start writing, but once you get that first letter or line or anything you might be working on. It can make it look a little bit messy if you have to go over it after it’s kind of skipped out so I usually just write a small word with it on a scrap paper. Additionally it’s not just the first time you use each pen it’s every time you go to use that colour every time I’ve picked up certain ones and it’s different it’s not those colours being defective. I just make sure no matter how many times I’ve used the pen, I do a little jot on a paper that I’m not currently working on.. overall all my complaints are pretty minor and for a beginner set or someone just starting out their collection it’s really good and you really can’t beat the price for this mini pens.

These are pretty. Beautiful colors. They stand out on a page but I thought they’d be more vibrant. The ink flow is smooth. And pretty good value for the amount you receive. However I gave them three stars because the caps are a pain to get on and off sometimes. And the thinness of the pen is nice for fine or extra fine details but not really anything other than that. Also the white pen, which is what I use the most, just does not work how I need it to. The opacity of the first layer was disappointing so I opted for some Uni-Ball gel pens off the shelf in a department store. Overall they’re fun to use, they definitely stand out but if you’re looking for something a little more durable that dries quicker for standard highlights I would pick something else. These were just too thin for me to comfortably.

These pens were reasonably priced and are a joy to use when writing to my pen pals or working in my junk journal. The tips are fine, so take your time writing and the ink will flow smoothly, which helps the colors really stand out.

Updated again: Adding another sample picture done with the Highlights 22 color set. They are super excellent pens! Updated: Adding a sample done with the most recent set of 22 colors that I picked up during prime days. The new set has added some nice colors to my original set. Quality is just as good. I love these pens! Will likely order more sets. TIP: Do NOT press hard with these. They have juicy, free flowing ink and very responsive ball points. You only need to barely touch the paper to let that ink glide out. For this reason, I don't think these would be appropriate for younger children who do not yet have the motor skills to be delicate - they will have poor coloring results and likely break the tips quickly. These are definitely for teenagers and adults IMHO - and an excellent choice. Original Review: I only wish there were more colors. These are super smooth and can even cover large areas without streaking if you use the right technique. You can lay colors over top of each other once the bottom layer dries, just be sure to use a very light touch and let that smooth flowing roller ball do the job.

Writes like a dream. I bought both the 24 skin tones and the 22 black/white/gray packs. Black/white pack was missing the color card test sheet. Would have been nice to have, but not at all why I bought them. Skin tones: About 18-20 of the colors show up beautifully on black paper, really pop. About 15 or so show up well on white paper. So there is some overlap with some colors working well on either black or white paper. That's assuming you are looking for high contrast with the paper. Also, that's a subjective assessment, so depending on your eyesight, YMMV. Highly recommend these pens.

Got these for Christmas and I'm very impressed with them. These work very well come with swatch charts so if you fill those out first you get to practice how the ink applies. So many colours and all work well.

There are great pens. And are even better colors.
