I just purchased a modern-looking bookshelf from a generic Amazon brand and within a couple weeks found myself disliking the visible assembly hardware and cheap design. This was over twice the price, but it is absolutely worth it. Assembly was simple doing it myself - although installing the cabinet may require two people depending on strength and skill. The part labels and hardware are essentially completely hidden once assembled. The oak color has a nice smooth finish. The shelves have a nice rounded front edge, there is a back edge so things don’t fall or roll behind, and the base is wider than the top so it feels sturdy and doesn’t tip easily - the design is far more intuitive than the cheaper one. I centered the cabinet doors easily and the soft close hinges work great. The shelves are rated for 20 pounds which is plenty for small books and decorations. My partner and I both agree that this is a massive improvement over the previous cheaper bookcase and I’d totally recommend it to anyone looking for a modern, ladder-style bookcase.

This is a nice piece of furniture, even considering its flat pack. It took about an hour to assemble by myself, but it went together smoothly and all the necessary pieces were included. Once assembled it is very stable and sturdy and looks very nice in my living room. I’m able to hide my printer and other office essentials in the cabinet and have more ascetically pleasing items on the open shelves. It is nicely proportioned for my small apartment and the multi function display and closed storage is very useful.I do wish it hadn’t been packed with styrofoam as I’m still finding bits of white stuff on the piece and my floor was covered in bits of styrofoam once I was done, even though I was careful when handling the packaging.

I am in love with this bookshelf! The color is perfect, the price wasn’t unreasonable, and it adds personality to the room. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because I’m having a hard time keeping one of the handles on. But overall I am pleased with this purchase!

First things first, I absolutely love how the shelf turned out. It's gorgeous, and perfect for if you need a tall, open shelf to free up space.The shelf is made of engineered / manufactured wood, but it's of a more sturdy quality than the cheapest particle wood out there. You shouldn't be too afraid of any dents or damage if you handle with moderate care. The finish is smooth and consistent throughout. Considering the price andThe assembly definitely took some time but was completely doable. All the holes were aligned well, and the instructions, which mostly had pictures, was easy enough to follow.The trickiest part was putting on the bottom cabinet door. I recommend you have a person hold it up for you while screwing it in. Make sure that you screw the door the highest and farthest out it can go, otherwise the door will scrape / not open and close smoothly. It took a lot of adjustments for me, but it worked out.Overall, for the quality, aesthetics, and build time compared to what I paid for, this is an amazing shelf and I'm extremely happy with it.

Nice sturdy piece of furniture. Great quality. Doors aligned perfectly and we had no issues to assemble.

This is excellent quality and looks beautiful. I highly recommend.

It looks exactly how it does in the stock photos and instructions are clear and easy to follow. Only down side is the piece is slightly wobbly, but they give you anchors should you decide to anchor it to the wall.

I’m really surprised by the quality, it’s stunning! All the shelves and cabinet doors align perfectly and it’s sturdy.I built it myself, did not need a second person but I had to do it in two shifts because it is a bit of labor. Pays off tho!The cabinet storage space fits my board games (large ones like monopoly etc), the shelves are good for books, vine plants and decorations.Recommend!
