Garminfenix 5S Plus, Smaller-Sized Multisport GPS Smartwatch, Features Color Topo Maps, Heart Rate Monitoring, Music and Contactless Payment, White/Silver

I run 5-6 times per week (5K-15K) and was looking for a replacement for my Pebble that integrated well with RunKeeper (can start/pause during running) and is just plain excellent with alerts.I first tried the Amazfit Bip which has an amazing battery Life (30+ days). The Bip is extremely comfortable to wear and decent at basic run tracking, but messages were unreadable. I got really very tired of the limitations pretty quickly.Next I tried the Garmin VivoActive Music. Very lightweight (plastic-y), has music, and a GPS. I tried uploading my music however (I have a Spotify subscription) and you can only upload your own MP3's. Very cumbersome, especially I don't own the running tracks with the right BPM. Would be a considerable extra cost to purchase these.I tried the fenix 5s as well, but having no music on the watch just doesn't cut it anymore. I'm tired of running with a phone strapped on arm or in hand. Also I didn't like the fact I needed to push a button for backlight.Then I read that the fenix 5s Plus supported Spotify. This was a no-brainer. I returned all of the tried watches and it is indeed all I expected.Pros:- Good battery life. Can get 4-5 days out of it.- Excellent message support. Very readable and easy to use- Spotify integration is absolutely amazing.- Raise hand to switch on back-light. Yes! Was something I missed when I tried the 5s (not plus)- Creates a run of any length on the fly using the built in map. Absolutely stunning how good that works.- The Garmin Connect software is very very good... Making courses and uploading to the watch is just AMAZING- Data data data. I can truly say I am able to become a better athlete as the watch is giving me great feedback.- It's a looker. The watch looks better than an Apple watch.- It detects activities very well. I was amazed how it detected various strength exercises- Not a touch screen! When you run you don't want to look at the watch. I just push the right buttons (it becomes 2nd nature). Also, in the rain, touch screens are useless.- It has some really nice watch faces you can install.- Buttons can be customized- etc...Cons:- It's a bit pricey, but given the amazing set of features it's totally worth it... (so... not a con...?)- A little bulkier/heavier than I wanted. Due to this you may need to strap it on tighter during a run.

I always wanted one of this, I am always a garmin person. It works well with my workout, it also has a good battery life and I like how I can still see the watch when I need it when I count my patients’ heart rate manually. Highly recommended:)

This watch exceeded my expectations! It flawlessly tracked my strides and provided comprehensive data on heart rate and attitudes during my sporty endeavors. A must-have for anyone serious about fitness!

I love the watch and all the new technology but unfortunately, I have a small wrist and every time I ran the watch was hurting my bone wrist, so I need to returned. I recommend the watch for the ones have a big wrist.

For those looking at the photo, I have pretty big wrists and you can see the watch is still quite large.I really love the aesthetic of the tracker! The features are great and the activity tracker thus far is pretty accurate. The battery life has been phenomenal on my unit- I’ve been using it for 3 days and still have 75%. The cons of this are only related to the iPhone app. It’s missing some key information on the landing page of the app, like battery percentage. In addition, you still have to plug the watch into a PC to update software before you can really even start to customize. It kind of dulled the excitement of being able to take it out and play with it because I kept getting errors. I still highly recommend this product.

Nothing to dislike on this watch. Can’t beat the battery life and love the sleep indicator and stress monitor. Perfect size also.

I absolutely love my Fenix, I am so glad I went with this one versus the Venu or the Vivoactive 3. I love that it is NOT a touch screen, so much better! My workouts don't get stopped on accident, the watch face isn't on random screens. Very pleased with that feature. I love the white band with the silver, and so far it seems to be holding up well!

I've had this 4-5 months now. Terrible battery life, useless at tracking heart rate for anything other than a walk (get a Scosche). I like it very much as a smart watch, which is all it's good for, so it's massively overpriced for this function. Should be $200. The one star is for the price related to real-life usefulness.Update-I've had this 9 months now. Still can't monitor my heart rate worth a damn despite numerous software updates. Battery life still abhorrent. There is nothing "sport" about this watch.

Lo amo. Solo me hubiera esperado al Buen Fin donde estuvo en descuento. Yo buscaba algo un poco más diferente al forerunner. No tiene taaantas diferencias y el precio sí es mucho más alto. Me gustó que te deja ingresar un ejercicio distinto desde el reloj que no viene en el menú. Lo que me decepcionó es que en la app de todos modos sale como “otros” y no te saca las estadísticas con el nuevo nombre. De cualquier manera amo a Garmin y estoy satisfecha con el producto.

This watch took a while to figure out how to use the most basic features because they have tried to cram too much into one watch. The music feature is very clunky. It is difficult to get playlists on and then once you do, they disappear. If this watch was $100, all this would be fine, but for such and expensive watch, I would have hoped that it would be more usable. Will be returning

Estaba muy emocionada con tener este reloj, sin embargo me decepcionó mucho. Primero se quedaba “atorado” el menu. Tenías que esperar un rato para que se desatorara. Tuve que reiniciar a configuración de fábrica dos veces. Adicional nunca funcionó correcta y sostenidamente la función de que prendiera la pantalla al voltear la muñeca. Creo que para el precio le falta pantalla touch y una mejor calidad de color. Quiero creer que fue una situación extraordinaria que me tocó pero en realidad no lo sé.

Genial si quieres monitorear tu actividad, desde contar los pasos de un día hasta grandes carreras o sesiones de casi cualquier ejercicio... configurable en las carátulas, puedes escuchar tus listas de Spotify sin tener que llevar tu teléfono... definitivamente una muy buena compra!
