Nice case for the money
This case is pretty decent considering it's price! Although right after I bought mine the price went up so it may take some consideration at this point.I use my iPad strictly at home where it's really never really exposed to harsh drops or serious handling issues. This said, if you are looking for a good protective cover, you need to look further. This doesn't provide much protection from anything. It's just a cover hanging VERY gently onto the four corners and two sides. I had no problems at all fitting my gen 3 iPad into it like some reviewers seem to say they have trouble with. Just push the iPad firmly in place and it's fine. I do not like the fact that you have to take the iPad out of two corners to use the stand. Popping it out of the case protective corners isn't that difficult but just as an FYI, the corners aren't a complete wrap around over the iPad so I feel that overuse of removal and replacing could compromise the already not-so-secure fit. Don't get me wrong, the corners hang on nicely to the device but they just barely do that. I honestly just wanted a case that would turn the iPad on and off automatically with the magnetic feature and a case that protected the display. That's all this does so I'm happy. I had an Apple cover that lasted only 2 years and it was almost $50.00. I recommend this case for light use and folks who need basic protection. The on/off feature works great and the thick soft cover is solid over the crystal display.**One other thing that is good to know - the Apple cover also covered the speaker with tiny holes which muted the sound a bit. This cover leaves the speaker exposed so the sound seems better! Maybe my imagination, I don't know. What I do know is I don't find myself cupping the side as often to hear. I took off one star just because of the fact that I have to remove two corners to use the stand.

Earlier model held up for over four years, this one is falling apart after 1.5.
I bought a Vuscape case for over $30 for my original iPad 2 back in 2011, and kept the same case when I upgraded to an iPad 4 two years later. Now, after 4.5 years and rough treatment by my now-preschooler who's just a few months younger than it, that case is finally falling apart. Imagine my delight when I found the same model of case for only $6! Honestly, the cutout to "show off" the apple is kind of goofy, and I'm a bit disappointed that the faux-leather has been replaced by a nylon fabric, but for over $25 in savings I'm not going to complain too loudly. And a stylus holder has been added! Four years ago it was impossible to find a case with a stylus holder, and I wound up just not using my stylus with no way to keep with with the iPad. Maybe now I'll get back in the habit.Overall, I was really impressed with how the earlier model Vuscape held up over the years, and I'm hoping that this new one does just as well. It fits just as snugly and the divots to hold the iPad up as a stand are just as deep and sturdy, maybe moreso, so so far I'm impressed. And amazed at the price difference!Edit: Nearly a year later, it is still doing a great job! Almost no wear and tear.Edit: Sadly, this is not holding up like the old model. I've had it for 1.5 years, and one of the corners that holds the iPad in came apart a couple months ago. That resulted in sharp metal sticking out that I had to cut off with a wire clipper. Now another corner is coming off. I'm pretty sure I'll have to get a new case sometime in the next few months. For the price, I suppose it's to be expected that it lasted half as long as the old case, but I'd rather pay more for one that looks nicer and lasts longer, especially given that it's sold under the same model name as my old case. Bumping my review from 5 stars down to 3. :(

Great Cover With Minor Adjustments
I can't be happier with my purchase. This cover is everything I hoped. One of two small issues I've found with this cover is the magnetic cover works 99% of the time but not always. Occasionally when closed gently it fails to go to sleep. Be quick or press down firmly and it won't be necessary to use the top right button. No worries. I have owned a previous cover similar to this one before and I knew the cover latch/hook edge could be a little tight at first. Instead of enduring the break in period I used a pliers and put some light pressure on it to loosen it up a bit. It worked and I'm enjoying my new cover sooner. When other reviewers described their problems with this cover it seemed they were confused on how the cover works. It is meant to 'pop out' when folded at the crease so that it can be angled into the grooves for landscape viewing. Maybe I'm misunderstanding them but the cover corners need to come off for that function to work. I believe the corners are purposely designed to be looser at these two ends for that reason. The second small issue I've found with this cover is the grooves are somewhat more shallow than I had hoped. My iPad does slip out when bumping it while in the grooves. Once set and left alone it is pretty solid but it would be smart to take the time to hold it securely before turning/moving it while in the grooves. I consider it a minor annoyance but it's worth mentioning.

Worth the $9.99, magnet is not well-aligned
The case just arrived today, so I can't speak to how well it holds up. I have a gen 4 iPad, and the case does fit, although it is built to hold on in just four places (as you can see in the photos). I bought this case for my work tablet. I have a Speck Burton case for my personal iPad, and I like that one better, but it's considerably more expensive. The magnet in the case does not turn the device off on closure _unless_ I flex the edge as if I were about to open it back up. Then I can hear the click of the screen lock. Similarly, opening the case doesn't turn on the iPad unless I specifically flex the edge a little. I don't find it that big a deal to press the screen lock button myself. The fit of my BoxWave stylus in the elastic on the front is very snug; it's a little hard to get in the loop, but the stylus is held securely.I think the case is going to be worth what I paid for it. Good enough.

Nice
Accidentally bought this case for the wrong iPad. Nice case though. Returning it’s not worth the 10 dollar fee so I guess I just have an extra case now
