I have had this installed for a few months now and it works well, it’s not to loud and the flow is very very powerful. The product is quite large and is only held to the glass with a suction cup. I have found a couple of times that it has come lose and due to the power of the pump has blown everything everywhere in the tank. The only big downside I can see is that you are not able to adjust the power, it’s either on or off but for the price I think it’s worth that drawback. At the price point and knowing what I know now I would still recommend it but definitely worth keeping in mind.

Looking through the reviews I thought this would be perfect for my 5 foot, 500 litre tank. If anything it's too powerful! My acara is not enjoying the flow however my unicorn catfish is loving it! Will have to play around with it to find the perfect area but does exactly what it should and very impressed. It is not noisy at all when placed so that's great too.

Purchased for my 3.5ft marine tank. Pump has really good water flow and best of all it's really quiet. If your tank is smaller than mine it would probably be too strong so maybe a smaller lph flow would be better for you.Update: No longer quiet and has started to make a fairly loud buzzing/clicky sound after 48hrs use.

I ordered this powerhead with the mindset of I needed something cheep and fast until I can afford better. I was expecting the usual cheep barely working product but was pleasantly surprised when this arrived. Its powerful and quiet and I haven't felt the need to upgrade as I was planning

The pump it self seem ok for the price. However the mounting bracket broke as soon as I installed it.( the attachment between the suction cup and the lever).Because I was off on holiday I had no time to return the item without leaving my tank with out a circulation pump therefore had to bond the pump to an old mound I had.

REVISION - This item broke down within 1 month and stopped working, only producing bubbles. I have returned and I am awaiting a refund - Poor quality overall and very disappointing.Really effective product and value for money. Works wonders in my 450 litre fish tank. Only issue power cord too short.
