The fabric is very nice, strong but airy. It certainly feels like real linen. It’s actually not an A-line dress; it’s A-line down to the (generously deep) pockets, then “square” below that. This makes the fabric pile a bit around the hips in an arguably unflattering way... but I, and probably anyone else looking at this garment, don’t particularly care about looking shapely when I’m in the mood to wear a giant linen sack.My only complaint is that the arm holes are deep enough that my entire bra band is visible if I lift my arm at all.One last note: the green dress is a lot lighter green in person than it looked on my monitor. I was expecting it to be similar to other “olive drab” or “military green” items I own, but it’s almost pea soup color. Still nice, but not what I expected.

My friend (she’s maybe 5” and XS) had this (sleeveless bubble) and it was so cute I had to get one. I’m was afraid this wouldn’t fit (I’m 5’11” and 16/18) but I got it and ABSOLUTELY love it. It’s comfortable and fits great. Love the style and goes great with a cardigan for work. It’s a linen so does wrinkle a little but not bad for wash n wear. Get tons of compliments. Want another in a different color!

Did not closely see that 'model' height was only 5'5 so I thought this was long. I'm 5'7" and barely comes to knee. So I assume model and company is China. Material is very sheer and thin. I would have to wear a slip dress under but have decided to Wear as cover up or housedress. I'm a 36 G Cup and it's a bit of a snug fit across chest. This is for a petite frame who wants see thru clothes. If you are taller, fuller bust and don't want to layer this I would not purchase.

First, the statistics. I purchased a size 14, and it fits like Goldilocks: not loosely oversized, not uncomfortably snug, but just right. Mind you, my bust is 35" on a good day and I weigh about 116. So this should affirm again: your usual size will be too small. Go up two sizes or more.I purchased the green, which is a decent neutral-- not as dark as army green nor as bright as pea-soup green. The fabric is fairly opaque, though on a bright day the sun would shine through.In white, it would probably seem more see-through.Once it's been rinsed and dried, the fabric is much softer . I put it in the drier on cool for a few minutes, then dried it the rest of the way on a hanger. It didn't need much ironing after that. (Yes it's a bit wrinkled but that's what linen is all about!)The rinse also helped to tame that extravagant balloon shape, and that suited me fine. Because-- based on the charming photos of other ladies here-- it seems to be most attractive on a body with more substance than mine. But I look forward to wearing it in hot hot weather and I'm stitching a couple of heavy buttons at the lower end of each side seam to help that "puff" lie a little flatter.Oh-- and the pockets. Gotta love a stylish dress with POCKETS.

Beautiful! I love a linen dress in the summer, and this one is fantastic.About the fit, the dress is super flowy from the waist down. But it's tighter across the top, and the neckline goes right to the bottom of my neck. So if you're pear-shaped and have a smaller bust, go with a smaller size. But if you're busty, you'll probably have to go with a slightly bigger size and just deal with the extra volume beneath the waist. I typically take a size 10 dress And where are 38V-C bra. I got a size 12 in this dress. It fits just right across the bust, but it's very full at the bottom.If I knew how to sew I would probably cut the neckline a bit to make it a v-neck instead of a high-rise neck. These aren't criticisms. I like this dress quite a bit. But I'm mentioning these things to help people figure out which size to buy.

you wont regret buying this dress it is so comfy im 5'4 and it hits 3 inches below my knees and i weigh 160 lbs and the medium fit me perfectly. do recommend

I ordered size 12 because I ordered medium for my first dress from this brand, which has apparently changed size specs. I have a 38.5 bust measurement. I returned it because it was too snug across the bust, and extremely tight at the neckline, which is much smaller than shown on the model. But plenty of room over the hips, so I’m a little concerned that the replacement size 14 will be huge and need to be reduced around the hips. These dresses always require alteration anyway, so a redrawn side seam will be just one more change. The fabric is a medium weight, and I will be wearing a slip, although young women will probably not. They don’t seem to wear slips these days, but I’m a grandmother who feels naked without one. I always have trouble choosing a size with this type of dress because the maker’s chart is usually ambiguous, not stating whether the numbers refer to body measurements or the garment dimensions. Usually, my best guess must suffice. This one is especially confusing. I would advise you to order on your bust measurement because the hip will be large enough to cover several bust sizes. I do love these summer dresses, but I wish amazon would offer petite sizes. I have six new dresses lined up for alteration, this time by a pro seamstress. It's too difficult to alter and sew for myself now.

I love that it is cotton/linen, makes for awesome fabric for Summer. I love the design/shape of this asymmetrical dress. I also love the pattern on the fabric. The pockets could be a tad bit larger, but that is an easy fix for me. The neckline is smaller (higher up) than what it shows in the pictures. It is not a deal breaker as I sew, so I plan on turning it in to a V-neck. I have not washed it yet. But need to as I am excited to wear it. I will hang it to dry, but even if it shrinks some, I will still be able to wear it due to the design.Even though the colors are not typical Summer colors, it won’t stop me from wearing it in the Summer. I plan on wearing it this fall with tights/leggings, boots or booties, and will also try it with a skinny belt, and a denim jacket. It will be just as adorable in the Fall as in the Summer.I wear a size 12 or large, am 5’7”, and weigh 152 lbs. I do with this exact design came in bright Summer colors (ie: bright pink, lime green, purple, yellow, etc) designs or soluds, I would buy multiples of this dress.

The dress was too small so I gave it too someone who is a size small in the bust. The material was not good quality linen and very thin.
