My husband and I are in an RCIA class and I purchased this book hoping to get more insight into Catholocism. The book starts out well, but then the author seems to get stuck in trying to convert the reader to Chrisitanity. If I wasn't already a Christian, I might find it usefull. But as a resource for RCIA, it misses the mark.

Fr. Longenecker is very good at explaining a complex subject. As a life long Catholic I learned a lot from his plane and simple explanations.

Fr. Longenecker uses easy to understand language and examples to help the reader put the teachings of the Church into focus--well done!
