I use it for cherry tomatoes and grapes so far. I use a long, good serrated knife and it works perfectly Just what I was looking for to half these small items. Very satisfied and would recommend.

This is simple to use and clean up is easy peezy! It’s exactly what I needed to separate chicken breasts. And, it really does slice grapes and cherry tomatoes quickly and evenly.

Cutting fruit and veggies is easy and saves time. You have to apply some pressure to hold it in place which will crush fresh cherry tomatoes but it isn’t terribly bad. Don’t try using it with bagels (I used a serrated blade) because you can slice your fingers or hand very easily and it hurts for days later…ouch!! I ended up slicing them by hand very carefully. I haven’t tried it on meat yet.

Simple, cut basket of cherry tomatoes, radishes, & olives in seconds. 1st try with 6” knife did not work well (too close to the size of the slicer); 2nd try was with 8” serrated knife which worked much better & pressure was easier to gauge as well (Not to squash olives). Low profile makes this easy to store as well. Product is simple (easy to clean) & sturdy enough should last a long time making it a good value.

I was very excited to get this as I have an abundance of cherry tomatoes. Wow what a FAIL!!!I’ve been cooking over 50 years so I’m not a novice cook. I tried this many times and it’s impossible to get an even cut. Good luck if your tomatoes aren’t all the same size. Most times one side was cut really small and the other really big. Also you have to have a VERY sharp knife.This is a complete waste of money!!! Don’t bother... It’s quicker to hand slice them. It’s also way over priced!So that you know this is the first negative review I’ve ever written and I buy everything from Amazon. I’ve been a Prime Member since 2011.You’re better off using a disposable plastic cover about the size of say cool whip and placing the tomatoes on the counter and pressing down on the cover and slicing across. Again make sure you have a very sharp knife!Worse product I’ve ever bought from Amazon. I will say it’s very well constructed. Heavy duty for sure. But what good is that if it doesn’t work as promised!!!Do not buy!!!
