Aimed at washing sheepskin, wool and other natural fibres but does it work with man made materials?
I am allergic to house dust mite and of course the main source of these is the bed. Accordingly I always wash my bed linen using an anti allergen detergent. Until now I have used Allersearch (also available on Amazon) but when browsing on Amazon, I came across Aller Wash and decided to try this for a change. The product details suggested that Aller Wash was much the same as Allersearch. However, when I received the product it came with a leaflet which showed that this product is very much aimed at washing sheepskin and wool products and also products made from natural fibres. There was no mention at all in the leaflet about man made materials. As all off my bed linen is 50% cotton/50% polyester and my duvet is 100% polyester, I was unclear whether the detergent would work with these. I contacted the seller for advice and she indicated that she used the detergent for all her washing. She also added that where it was okay to do so, she washed at 60% as this would kill dust mites. However, the labels on my bed linen advise washing at 40% and, of course, we are advised these days to wash at lower temperatures as it is more environmentally friendly. In any case, if I am able to kill dust mites by simply washing at 60%, what is the point of buying this detergent? So basically I am somewhat confused. I have now started using this product and as it is quite expensive, I will continue to use it (at 40%) However, will I buy it again? I am not sure. I will see how it goes. I may decide to go back to using Allersearch as this clearly states that it can be used with all types of material (natural and man-made) and can be used at any temperature. Allersearch would seem to be more versatile than Aller Wash or perhaps it is just that Aller Wash is not being marketed properly. As I have said, I will trial Aller Wash until the bottle is finished and then make up my mind.

Brilliant
Amazingly. When I have washed my duvet and pillows my husband stops snoring. Well worth the money. I have recommended this to my friend who buys new all the time instead of washing. If you have a allergy then don't be stupid, buy this detergent.
