More difficult than a traditional torque wrench
This review is for the Digital Torque Wrench Adapter Set. After having two traditional torque wrenches fail, I thought I would try this approach. The color display is nice, but overall, I found this difficult to use due to poor instructions and difficulty seeing the display while in use. I’m still looking for a good, reliable torque wrench option.

It took about 30 minutes of searching on Amazon & EBay to decide on Amazon’s torque wrench tool that has inch pounds. It would not work at first, it would just light up in the color display. You press c to turn it on, then press c to reset it. Nothing. It was only when I took the batteries out for the 4th time & waited 30 seconds that I was able to get the number to 89 then I was able to set it to inch pounds. I thought it was junk at first, but I wanted this to work so I could complete cranking down the transmission pan on my Ford Ranger. So far I am very impressed with this colorful tool. I included the paperwork of certification photo.

Handy and Tests Accurate
I've been considering getting a digital torque wrench for years now, but I have an old "beam" type model that seems to serve me pretty well. When I saw this little torque adapter that I could just use with any racket handle, I wanted to try it.Pro's:1. Small and pretty easy to use.2. Accurate - I was impressed that the tool was tested before shipping and that they included the test results in the package. In this day and age, that's impressive. I also compare it to my trustly old beam model at 10 and 15 foot lbs and they matched.3. Adapters Included - You get a 1/2" to 3.8" and 1/2" to 1/4" drive adapter.4. I found the rapid beeping as you get close to the selected torque setting to be a great guide that you are almost to the setting.5. It all comes in a nice, compact plastic case.Con's:1. It takes a long time to scroll to the torque setting you want.2. Not sure that having it read to 100's of a foot lb. is useful. If it read only to 10th's, that's plenty of resolution, and it would adjust faster (I would think).I'm glad that I got this adapter, it fits the bill when using the long beam torque wrench is clumsy. I went with 4 Stars because of the time it takes to set it and reading out to 100's of a foot lb.
