Improvement on Basic Ear Cushions
These are a perfect fit for Samson SR 850 headphones. Not at all difficult to put them on and they are extremely comfortable. They have made a good pair of headphones even better.

AKG 280's now almost as comfy as my senhesissers
Had my AKG 280 parabolics for decades, comfort with the original leather like ear cushions was a bit lacking. These items looked like they should be compatible and around half the cost of genuine ones. A bit awkward to fit (rolling the retaining skirt back over the cushion first worked for me) but once in place the comfort was much improved. Have to mention that the stitching is a bit wavy, however this does not effect the comfort. Can see myself using them more in the future now the comfort is better.

Comfortable
Fit perfectly and are super comfortable on my 668b. Takes a bit of patience to get on, but they're nice and snug now.

A little undewhelming
They lasted a month before they started to ache and rubs against my ear.Did fit my dt770 pros well enough

Wouldn't recommend.
Bottom part/sides of these is leather, not hard plastic as AKG HD272's original ones, which has enormous impact on how the music sounds, insulation is not the same as with originals. Music leaks through the leather, and its not channeled towards your ears properly. Switched back to the originals after few hours of testing. Wouldn't recommend.

Ideal replacement ear cushions for Revox 3100
Conclusion:The headline above says it all.Purchased in order to resurrect a set of 1980s Revox 3100s. They seem ideal - better than the originals.Firstly, I was extremely reluctant to spend any amount on this set of headphones.A: I don't like headphones.In-ear canal is my preference - hands-down - but a decent pair is beyond my budget. Over-ear canal is acceptable - but all the pairs I've purchased or listened to sound dreadful. I like passive noise-cancelling. On-ear - absolutely out of the question. Around-the-ear - like these Revox - tolerable providing they don't touch my ears. Unfortunately the Revox do touch my ears - although only slightly it's enough to cause pain after a few hours. I have sensitive ears!B: I never liked the sound quality of the Revox 3100s.The bass on these always seemed distorted to me. Awful. Dreadful. But I was desperate as all my other sets - Sony, Phillips, Creative, Senheiser, Bose, ... were dropping dead like flies in a pesticide factory, and each new pair sounded like my older brothers' 1950s transistor radio ear-pieces!Admittedly, I haven't been listening to much quality music with these - I'm mainly using them for TV - but for what I have listened to they are an improvement over the originals. Firstly, they do impact the sound quality - to my ears they sound better due to there being less distortion in the bass. Secondly, with the original vinyl set I tended to perspire a lot more where they were seated against my head. Horrible. With these, perspiration is much less of a problem for me - I was wearing these all day over the festive period with only minimal dampness. I expect the summer months may prove somewhat more problematic. Meanwhile I'll enjoy wearing them with this new lease of life.Delivery promptly from AUDIO123 LTDThank you

THE COMFORT
Bought these also for my Superlux HD681's after reading the reviews above and got a bit confused when I first opened the pack. Turns out the flaps are on the inside and they wrap around much like the old ones. However, these are FAR more comfortable than the stock, plastic ones. A good buy - they should add HD681's to the listing examples. As regards to change in the sound, I would say they actually sound 'wider' than before and a little brighter. Might just be a placebo effect though so don't take my word for it.
