EVERYONES got a couple wires that need a connector,I got this kit to see if it was the nectar or a grumpy Hector.I pushed through it, not good with precision or delicacy,In the interest of seeing, if it was good for “me.”To my surprise,It worked without multiple tries.Actually it went easy, cheesy, piezy.The wires fit through the soft backing easily,The connectors connected breezily.Far be it from me to give an easy “A,”But this connectors is made that way,Well thought out not cheap and plenty of stout.The toughest part was finding a crimper that does 24-20AWGI never did find it, and crimped it solar-ly.Then finished it tight with needle nose plier,And the results were fire!Which means better than good,Connecting like it should.I was however reminded that even though waterproof,Pressure washer can make your connection aloof,Take on water like a leaky boat,So that your connection does no longer float.So from a guy who is delicate like bull in China shop,Precision is not required to make your connections pop.

These cables take a second to setup, but they connect well and stay connected. The instruction sheet it comes with is simple, but made it easy to set them up. I love the variety of pin connectors this set comes with. I do wish it came with some more pieces though, don’t be fooled by “198 pieces”, it counts the metal pins as pieces too.

I got this assortment for some projects where I wanted waterproof interlocks, and I've had good experiences with the Deutsch connector line in the past. These so far have been good, they pin easily and if you have the proper crimper, they go seamlessly. The kit has the basic sizes I needed and it supports 16AWG well, wire which is what I was expecting. No complaints here, I always like having kits like this around for prototyping or incase something breaks.

I ordered this to replace some of the stock connectors on my Surron with deutsch plugs. I like these plugs better than the stock ones because they are easier to source and feel higher quality to me. They do take up a little more space than other automotive connectors so they aren't great for tight spaces but overall these connectors are awesome.This kit comes with everything you need besides the crimper. These connectors crimp on with a standard small wire sized crimper. You can find a decent one for about the same price as this kit. And it is very easy to use.These connectors came well organized in a little box and the smaller parts that could get mixed up came in bags to prevent spilling. Thats more than I can say about some other wire connector sets I have ordered.Deutsch connectors are super water proof and resilient. They are my go to for automotive projects. 10/10 Deutsch connector kit. The only thing you will regret is not ordering more. Highly recommend these if you do your own wiring on automotive stuff.

Having been a certified mechanic at one point in my life, I know that deutsch connectors are about the best automotive connector there is. They hold well, are waterproof, and are easy to assemble/disassemble. Granted it has been a long time since I've worked with a deutsch connector so I seemed to find every incorrect way to try and assemble them, before I finally remembered how they go together...So if you've never used this type of connector before, maybe watch a video on how they go together. Overall, if you do any DIY automotive wiring this is a great kit to keep on hand.

I work on my own cars. And motorcycles. And golf carts. And some of these are antiques. And if I am replacing parts, I might not use OEM parts from the dealer. I might not even use parts from my make or model (I have "Honda" parts on my Buell, I have "Toyota" parts on my Mazda, I could go on).And sometimes, some of these parts include electrical components. You can really hack apart a wiring loom/harness and set yourself up for hard problems to diagnose later. So if I am doing wiring, I really like to keep it professional. I don't worry about original, but I do like quality and professional simply because wiring problems are generally intermittent and hard to diagnose.And that is what this is. Wow, 198 pieces. Whoa; 150 of those pieces are the pins. And each plug is essentially four (4) pieces (male, female, wedge-locks for each). So I didn't get quite as many plugs as I expected. They will all get used though. Somewhere... Nice kit, just not as comprehensive as expected.

I had to add some lights to my motorcycle and the people that made the lights didn't put a connector to remove the lights. (They installed on the saddlebag) If you removed the saddlebag, you had to take the seat off and a bunch of other things just to get them off, for instance tire replacement. I have used these connectors on my Harley, my cars and anywhere I need a watertight connection and have never had a problem. I used some strong double sided tape to stick them out of sight, but now when I change a tire or remove a saddlebag, it's just unplug the wire and go for it. It is a reliable and great connection. This pack doesn't come with the crimp tool and pick. Make sure you order them, but you can't go wrong using the Deutsch connectors.

If you get the crimper made for these terminals, you will have no issue whatsoever. I retrofitted a vaporization wand (a tool used in beekeeping) to use cordless tool batteries, and it's just slick. If the beekeeper ever wants to go back to using a deepcycle battery she can just switch out the rig I put together with the alligator clips it came with thanks to these terminals. Strong, secure, and watertight. Thank you newage America. This job was a cakewalk.
