Cable Operated Bypass Heater Valve for 5/8" Heater Hose, Pull to Open #25-1018

Bought this for my Subaru swapped Vanagon. This valve does what it is supposed to do. Keeps the Subaru engine happy and keeps the heat out of the cabin when I don't want it.

My chevy luv heater control broke and would leak everywhere. There are no stock heater controls in any store. I saw someone talk about this control valve online and decided to give it a try. It works perfectly in my truck and the heater blows hot. I still need to find a way to adapt it into the truck since it obviously not made to mount under the hood. Overall great buy.

Working real good on my 1954 Chevy Rat Rod. Isolates heat from heater core as it should.

Installed to a 1966 Ford F100 with a Classic Auto Air conditioning system to help regulate interior temperature. The best so far. It's hard to regulate temperature with coolant flow since engine speed is always changing.

Great product and much cheaper price than several other vendors. Works perfectly!

Great heat valve works great

I bought this valve and the cable that was recommended by Amazon. There is no good way to bend a loop in the cable to connect it. I tried a search for a cable with a loop in the end, so far no luck. It would be a good valve if it came with a cable that fits.

I installed this in a Volvo 240. (Video on YouTube) The heater and components needed replacing. So this was the best “race car” option I could find for what was needed. It’s mechanical operation works great with the oem climate control lever. 4 stars as, Item is as it’s described, and works great so far. But Would buy again if I needed another one.
