Better balance than included handles and ability to enable/disable weights is very helpful. Expensive but worth it

I purchased the Speediance PowerGrip Smart Heavy Duty Exercise Handles with high expectations, especially given their premium price point. While the build quality and ergonomic design are commendable, the Bluetooth connectivity has been a consistent source of frustration.Much like the issues I've encountered with the Speediance Bluetooth Ring, these handles frequently struggle to maintain a stable connection with the Gym Monster system. Despite following all troubleshooting steps—ensuring the device is fully charged, resetting the connection, and minimizing potential interference—the problem persists. This not only disrupts workouts but also diminishes the overall user experience.Given that these handles are marketed as "smart" devices, reliable Bluetooth functionality is essential. Unfortunately, the current performance falls short of expectations. I hope Speediance addresses these connectivity issues in future updates or provides clearer guidance on resolving them.

Disappointing. Well built but the only useful function it has is turning the weight on/off. You cannot change the weight mid set like you can do with the ring. Very disappointing for the price, especially with the grossly misleading marketing language, saying that “you can switch the weight” - you cannot. You can switch the weight on/off. That’s it. So what you have, basically, is a a decent set of handles, solid, pretty but wayyyy overpriced for the function. You can get an awesome set of premium handles and buy the ring - and it will still be cheaper than these. Or just use the standard handles and use the ring…
