Great deal and good quality.
Very impressed for the price! Fits 2012 KLR perfectly. Install isn't hard as far as tools, but it was a little tough to make it all fit together - two people would have made it a lot easier. I have one minor complaint that there is a chip in the paint new out of the box. I would send it back except 1) it was a chore to put in on the bike (that's when I noticed it) and 2) it's on the front edge so I figured it's going to get beat up there anyways from road travels.

Would be great if not for vibration.
Solid. Very easy to install. An extra set of hands would be helpful but it only took about 30-45 minutes to install by myself. I am experiencing vibration at 3500 rpm which is pretty annoying. I have read that adding weight to the lowest point of the bars will fix this. Some people use bbs. I will most likely do that. Otherwise they look great, work great and are much easier than others to install.

A bear to install
Nothing really lined up. Had to keep everything lose and use quick clamps to push and pull bars to line up. Arrived all scratched up. Appeared to be seconds and/or returns. I like the way they look.

givi vibration issue
Design is almost right. Qulity control is nonexistent. One of the holes was not drilled the right size. The biggest issue is due to design on klr version...the top parts of the bars resonate at 3500 rpm. I will need to either weld brace to fix or add enough weight with footpegs or ? To bring the resonating point low enough to where it will stop.have not had time to do so yet.

Pretty easy to install
Pretty easy to install. Two caveats:!) I had to drill out the holes larger for the cross-brace as it came from the factory with holes too small.2) The subframe bolts provided are sub-par so if you have done the eagle mike replacement bolts before (not drill through but the upgraded bolts) then you will need to go to Home Depot and buy newer and longer higher grade bolts for your subframe where the Givi bars attach in the rear. Also - I had an incredibly old JNS skidplate and these bars and that plate don't fit together unless you either lop off the top of the skidplate just above the bolt holes or if you decide to use spacers on the front between the skidplate and the engine mount - you will need 1/4" of spacers if you do that....so just be aware that you will be fabricating to get these bars to fit you KLR between the drilling out of holes the factory screwed up and whatever old skidplate you may have.Still happy with the bars though - they look damn good on the bike and look like they will do the job!

THESE WILL FIT A 2014.5 KLR650
These fit perfectly on my 2014.5 KLR 650 and there is no vibration at all, as long as you spend to time to tweak the fit and make sure the rubber I rings are seated properly. Also they make a decent set of leg stretchers for those long rides. They were really easy to install and they look good on the bike.

Great addition to the KLR.
Installed this engine gaurd on my 2011 Kawasaki KLR 650. Installation took about 30min. Everything lined up perfect. I added silicone rtv sealent to the front middle coupling joint to prevent vibration down the road. The bars has a couple of chips in them from shipping but nothing to serious. I feel these bars will provide great protection to the body panels and engine cases in all but the most serious get offs.Bill
