This looked like a great product in theory, but when it was delivered, I found that the glass chimney was too large for the base. While trying to assemble, I checked for suggwstions ln how best to insert the glass chimney. I had to stop for fear of shattering the glass. Unfortunately, I had to return it.

The rule of thumb I use for Vine reviews is that if it matches the listing under which I ordered, then I expect to give it 5stars. If I don't think it would earn 5stars, then I don't order it. In this case, I was looking for a metal incense burner since each of my other ones were ceramic. I had noticed incense handle differently and gives off different aromas when burned differently. I generally like the more pure and natural scented incense - which often means resins. Since I had ordered some resin I was looking for burners that would complement that type of incense and this metal burner seemed to fit. It is all steel plates (all magnetic) and the outside is a type of laminate cover so that it gets the wood grain texture. It does mean there are some minor flaw on the edges where the steel was spot welded together. It's not something I would have an issue with, but some do look only for flaws. The burn area is relatively small so that it won't do something like an incense coil, but is fine for a cone or the coal with resin I'm waiting for delivery on. I will mention that the cone went out after I put the lid on likely from lack of oxygen. I was expecting that since I've seen other closed burners do that. Keep that in mind depending on the type of incense experience you're going after. The top piece is only as deep as you see in the photo which means it's still separated from everything else. Given the separation between the top and the bottom it should keep heat from traveling to your table or other surface. So far as how hot the top gets, that is yet to be seen. A cone wasn't enough to heat it up (but given it went out when the top of was put on its not the issue which should worry you). The base is wide enough it didn't seem unstable. It will, however, tip over if knocked over. With a hot coal piece inside that is something you should always be prepared to deal with - and if you have pets should make sure it's out of range.

I absolutely love this incense burner. It instantly made my space feel more calming and elevated, a piece of decor as much as a functional item. What stood out to me is how versatile it is. I can use it for incense sticks, cones, sage, or palo santo, and it keeps everything neat and contained. The wood and glass combination looks elegant and sturdy, and the brass-colored holders are pretty. I was especially impressed with how well it catches ash, which saves me from constantly wiping down tables. For anyone who burns incense regularly or wants to add a little extra warmth to their home, this piece is definitely worth having.

I do like this gold incense burner - it is just the right amount of over the top and yet very functional. It is almost 10 inches tall, with only the top part being used for the incense cones. There is some assembly required - the very nice crystal ball on top has to be screwed into the lid. Getting the nut on to hold it in place is a little tricky but eventually I got it down - having the appropriate tool helps. It is sturdy and it looks very pretty, even if slightly over the top, and would work well for incense cones or other such things. It does NOT come with any cones or resin or anything so I wasn't able to test how well it works but it looks similar to other burners I have. In the end, burn rate comes down to the quality of the cones. This just facilitates that - and this one raises it up instead of having the cone sit so close to the table.

Very cool incense burner! This incense holder has a little clasp so you can burn the incense sticks upside down and catch the ash in the included metal containers. You can also use these for cones and other burnables, like sage. I have used this a couple of times for larger sticks and it works well to hold them up and keep them contained. It's beautiful and feels good quality. My only issue with it is that the metal stick/pole with the clasp didn't fit very well in the small hole where it is supposed to go. I had to force it and twist it to get it to stay up straight. Other than that, it's lovely.
