Easy to use and good quality
I am new to candle making and decided to try it because I cannot find what I want for sale.Normally I use yellow, unfiltered beeswax when I make my moisturisers, so using white beeswax was new to me. It arrives in lovely small pellets, so it doesn’t need broken up ( I usually buy a slab) and it was very easy to accurately measure out the quantity I required, instead of me guessing and cutting.I used a Bain Marie method to melt the wax which didn’t take long, I used a low heat, and then added the essential oil I wanted. Every candle making video I saw suggested no more than 8% fragrance. I did wait till the wax cooled a little since fragrance can be heat sensitive and disperse quickly.The candles took a while to cool, I am using the wooden wicks available from Amazon, but I have to admit it was a very quick, easy, and clean way to make my own candles and I am happy with the results of this white beeswax.
