The only problem I have is that it comes apart a little too easily. My cat is the most finicky thing in the world, but she loves this as much as she can. She's not really one for toys. This, a scratch post, and a cardboard scratcher are her only toys she favors. I almost died of shock when she used this the first time😅

Did not last. One side broke where you insert.

The product arrived in a box that was open on the end. No parts list or instructions so I don't know if parts were missing. This one is not the one shown in the video. This one came with nuts on top of the pad that you remove and put on the wire stakes, then insert the stakes into the base and tighten the nuts. One side tightens, the other doesn't. The last one I bought was like the video and it lasted a long time plus my cats loved it thus the reason for buying it again. I'm returning this one for an exchange. I prefer the old version but will give this version another try...or two, it's worth it if I can get one that stays together. However, for what you get, I really think it's overpriced. Even though it's not real sturdy, it seems to work well...at least the old version worked well. Again, I'll update as soon as I get the replacement.

I have purchased the plastic based unit from this company in the past.As much as my cats love this for self brushing , they would tip it over and eventually break the plastic receiver that holds the brush in place.When I saw they made an upgrade to the design I decided to pay the extra few dollars for this one.This is a much better made item for 2 reasons:1st Pressed wood base with metal screw in, washer & nut attachment. Keeps brush from popping out , more secure. Won't snap off or crack , like plastic.2nd This pressed wood base has some weight to it vs plastic base helps from tip overs when your cat uses it, compared to the plastic base.I would recommend.

The brush is too soft to do any good as far as grooming. It does not attach to the base at all, there are no screws as it says in the description. You just push the brush's wire ends into a receptacle on the base and they come back out with very little effort. The base weighs practically nothing, so it's not stable at all. I'm very disappointed. Am sending right back without trying it out on my cats.

They have a lot of toys, we keep the windows open, they have their own freaking Fountain and they sleep in our bed. But let me tell you about this cat scratcher.When they say that they enjoy it, I mean that day love it! It's their favorite thing in our entire house. Anytime I come home from work or from a night out or anyting, one of the cats is lying on this scratcher.We originally bought it for our cat Reintte's birthday, and while it was easy to put together the bottom tines came out of the holes pretty easily, so I used to hot glue gun, put a drop in each spot, and it's been holding up for 2 years.My cat is actually obsessed with this. It's her favorite thing in the entire world, I think she likes it more than she likes me. I cannot recommend this enough. As a crazy cat mom, I am very particular with the toys and treats and enrichment that I get for my girls, and especially for Reinette who has a lot of extra needs, and she uses it every day. I mean EVERY. DAY. Sometimes we get toys or beds or trees for the cats that they don't use until we move them somewhere that they realize oh hey I like it in this spot, wherever we put this scratcher, books of the girls will find it and use it immediately. If I can't find one of the cats, I'll just rub my handle on it and the sound that it makes will call them to me. It's astounding.Even my cat that doesn't like to be brushed loves this scratcher. I bought it for a ranette because she loves being brushed and she steals my hair brushes and she brushes her face on them by herself so it was a perfect gift for her, but our other cat you can't come near her with a brush. She gets so upset and angry that it's really difficult to brush her. And she loves this scratcher.Just buy it. Buy it now. I'm not even kidding. It's amazing.

Brush was too soft to be effective, and friction attachment was inadequate. Brush tended to come loose from base.

My cat loves this brush. She brushes herself and sometimes just lays under it like she thinks she’s hiding. So glad that I bought it for her.

Works okay. Wish I was a little bigger for my larger cat

Really made cheaply and the base is plastic the cat can’t grip to walk and comb herself just a poor made product especially since it cost nearly 50.00 I have a friend that bought similar and very well made compared to this one
