Bandai Hobby SD Gundam #3 Nightingale "Char's Counterattack"

I loved the panel lines and details in it. It was fun to paint but took a while to get everything done. The neck could stand to be a tiny bit higher (but I'll just fix that myself with a mod). The tubes on the back as you can see need to be filled in, I'll probably just 3d print some to replace it. The overall appearance really shines. I used waterslides on mine and scrapped all the stickers for hand panting but I'm sure it would look all right either way.

It’s a great alternative to the 1/100 scale Re100 version of the Nightingale, which is much bigger and more expensive. Very easy to build and nub marks easily hidden.This kit can be built using the included grey SD frame or using a separately purchased grey CS frame - purchased the white CS instead as it matches some white parts. The CS frame gives it a little bit more articulation, but not much nor is it necessary - your personal preference. Highly recommended.

Un bel modello da costruire, non troppo difficile da montare, molto semplice, ma ben fatto con i dettagli ben fatti. La foto non rende le dimensioni reali di questo modello, che sembra piccolo ma invece ha un'apertura alare di 20 cm buoni, cosa che mi ha sorpreso. Un consiglio procurarsi lo silhouette frame che rende il tutto più alto e snodato, così si possono avere più pose. Consigliato molto caldamente!

Adorable, weird looking, and definitely unique. Had a good time putting this together kit together, and looks fine with or without the very few stickers it comes with. Only a few small details are the wrong color, but it still looks fine even without paint. There's not as much range of motion in the head as I would have liked, and because the legs are so thick, there aren't any dynamic standing poses you can do, but put on a display stand and elevated, you get more range to work with. Most of the parts don't have sprues coming out from odd places and typically kept in hidden spots or on an edge in a way you can cut it off and not have problems.

This kit has been the easiest SD kit I have ever made and I've made a lot of these. However this is the first time I've come across one that's has the option of purchasing an inner frame (which I didn't know at the time) From what I can tell it makes the arms and legs a little longer which would be nice but not necessary as you can see from my custom painted Nightingale. I wasn't willing to spend 100 on the RE/100 version because it's just a huge piece of plastic with as much poseability as this SD version. Looks bad ass but cute at the same time. Looks like a pissed off red dolphin lol. I love it though.
