Lovely winter/frozen set for the classroom
VigorFun Starshine Frozen Castle 100 piece magnetic tile set is nice. I have been teaching Pre-K for 10+ years and have a massive magnetic tile collection including over 100 sets from Amazon. Let's look at this set.First let's check out the accuracy of the ad. There is more in the box than what is shown there. Exactly what can be built is shown in my photos. This set has enough pieces that I would consider it a stand alone/starter set. Tiles are fully compatible with your standard sized collection. Let's break down what exactly is included in this Frozen Castle set.100 piece set includes:24 square tiles31 various triangles18 various frames12 click in middles2 quadruple sized squares6 fence/castle tops6 half squares1 car/train baseLet's look at aesthetics and pieces included now. These tiles come in 3 colors- clear, icy blue and deep purple. There is quite a variety of pieces here. Most are adorned with a lovely faceted star/snowflake shape on the tile faces. The squares are, by far, the most used building piece in the classroom and I prefer plenty of squares to share. The click in middles fit quite loosely. They easily pop right out and aren't super practical for classroom use. The click ins include; balconies, arched windows and shingled roof textured pieces. My favorite blocks here are the squares and the quadruple sized squares. The large squares will be scooped right up by students to be used for pitched roofs that don't collapse, building bases, strong walls, ponds, garage and cave toppers etc... Very nice. Triangles and castle shaped fence pieces are also awesome to decorate structures and build trees. There is also one train base that will attach to most other train bases from other companies.Let's briefly look at magnetism. To test magnetism, I dangle a row of squares off a single square to see how many it will hold. All my 113 sets I have fall in between a very weak 5 tiles to a snappy 8 tiles long. The vast majority of companies fall into the 6-7 range which I consider average. This set tests out at 6 tiles and is considered average/slightly below average magnetism. This set will build fine structures and add beauty to your collection.I consider magnetic tiles one of the very best toys for the Pre-K classroom. These manipulatives foster STEM thinking and touch on many Pre-K learning targets. They are open-ended toys and never lose their appeal with my 3-5 year old students. These are one of the very few toys that stay out on the shelf the whole year. They are used daily and crashed to the floor frequently. Add some cars, people, animals, rocks and driftwood and watch the creativity unfold anew.Overall, this set is perfect for that little Frozen fan in your life. The tiles are beautiful and the magnetism average. The price is right and the product durable. Magnetic tiles are a sound investment. Teacher tested and approved. Ages 3+

Great starter set. Excellent Value!
This is a great value for the money. Sets like this (about 100 pieces) are great starter sets for those just getting into the magnetic building tiles (or for those just wanting to add a lot more tiles). Includes lots of tiles and all the basic shapes. Both kids and adults seem to be drawn to these things. Just set them out on a table and watch people starting to create. These are standard size and from what I've been able to tell, pretty much all brands are interchangeable (except for those labeled "mini tiles"). Highly recommend these as an excellent value.Note: My elderly mother (88) recently had a stroke and lost much of the use of one hand. These magnetic tiles have proven to be a great tool for her physical therapy in trying to get the use of her hand back. They require some strength and dexterity to manipulate, and they are fun for her to work with. Just another use case for these neat magnetic tiles.

Nice size and cool colors
I like the size of these magnetic tiles. They are compatible with the average size magenitiles. It's definitely something that keeps us occupied for a while. We can leave it out and come back to it later as well. My 2 year old grandson loves to build with these!

DeLUXE.
We've got a lot of magnetic tiles from a lot of different brands (probably 6 different sets now?) These feel like they are the highest quality we've ever gotten. Normal magnetic tiles have that very light, brittle-feeling plastic. These are a more durable, heavy-duty feel. The prism constructions looks great, too. The magnets are strong. The only drawback to these might be that the weight/magnet ratio might get upset. If your kids like to build super-high towers, eventually the weight of the plastic itself becomes a concern, and these weigh more than standard magnetic tiles. So I guess you should just put these on the bottom.10/10.

The best toy for toddlers and young kids!
I’m so happy with these magnetic tiles! They keep my 4 year old son very busy and he loves building with them. They are high quality and work great. Definitely worth it and I will be getting more! Highly recommend!

These are Great
My sons (3 and 5) have spent hours playing with these since they first arrived. There might be some tears as your young one(s) learns how to build with these in the proper order and how to balance them correctly. It's like building houses with a deck of cards, but with magnets to assist. There's going to be some technique involved. With the variety of shapes provided, they've built rockets, houses, trucks, and other creative manifestations of the mind. You can't go wrong with a couple of sets of these. The shapes are sturdy enough to last, and there really isn't a chance of these breaking.
