Question 2

I have large apple trees outside that aren't doing very well. Will this work on apple trees? Is it high in Nitrogen?

Yes , but if they are large you will have to use a lot. Might not be cost effective. They mail thing with apples is raking up all the leaves when they fall. Throw them away or burn them, don't put them in your compost. Prune every year and dormant spray if you need to. Nitrogen will work for the greening of the leaves. This product is well balanced. I use it on my potted apples and citrus and it works well.

I have two small fig and pomegranate trees that I planted last year and have been looking for an appropriate fertilizer. Is A&O the correct one to use

The product description states that it is for all fruit so it wouldn't be much of a stretch to include figs and pomegranates in that category. I used it on my peach trees this year and they are all loaded with small fruit now (4/28).

Question 4

You say fda approved ingredients, does that mean it could still be certified organic if you paid the fees? I want to support Texas companies.

Hello, there are many FDA-approved ingredients that don't qualify for organic certification. OMRI will not classify mineral concentrates as organic. Part of our formulas utilize these minerals. It is a narrow definition that excludes many fine products. As an example, no production greenhouse in the World that is using mineral concentrates can get their produce certified as organic. As they say, it is what it is. We are more interested in producing high-performance fertilizers that give great results than getting that certification. We won't change our formulas.
