Tourmaster Men's Solution Air Boot

I bought these boots online from Amazon, largely based upon the recommendations in the other reviews. I wanted good, protective, and comfortable boots for long distance riding, and boots that were not too hot in the summer. Honestly, I expected to try them on as I had other boots, and then return them when they were too small or tight.Now, having ridden with them for some time, I feel qualified to say that the Solution Air Boot lives up to the recommendations of others. The boot is well made, with a good gear lever protection area, good ventilation (In warm weather I can really feel the air keeping my feet cool), they look good, and they feel good. I ordered to my normal size, and the wide fitting, and they are super comfortable.Size wise, they may be a little large, which causes no discomfort, but does mean I have had to change the way I change gear to accomodate the longer length, however, this is a minor inconvenience given the other great features on the boot.Favourite of mine, is the way that when the boot is open there is plenty of space to get your foot into it, and then there is a good zip which is secured to the velcro at the top with it's own velcro tab. This isn't unzipping accidentally one little bit. The main flap over the zip is secured with a generous amount of velcro, and makes the boot very secure.Okay... this isn't really a sport rider's flashy boot with lots of labels all over it, but for a great fitting, comfortable, cool in summer boot, I don't think that this boot can be bettered for the price.

I'm extremely O.C.D. Things must be JUST SO. That said, I have zero complaints about this boot. I did a good bit of reading regarding sizing, performance, comfort, protection, durability, et cetera before I ordered these. I also reached out to several different suppliers to get their input. All that feedback was useful, but it doesn't mean much until you put the boot on your foot.My running shoes are 8 regulars and fit my feet very well. I have no arch issues (or any issues, for that matter) with my feet, so I suppose you could say my kickers are a fairly decent litmus test for average, healthy feet. I ordered an 8 in the boot and it fits just as well as my running shoes. It is, by necessity and design, more rigid than a pair of comfy sneakers, so don't expect them to feel like your favorite pair of Merrells.There is a break-in period, but I found it to be fairly short. I rode my bike to work and wore my boots around the office for a day and that did the trick. You can expedite the process by flexing the boots as you are wearing them.On the bike, the protective features of the boot feel more than adequate. I'm a fairly conservative rider, so no boot-scraping on turns from me. The air flow on the road is excellent. I live in Alabama. It is hot with 9 million percent humidity and my feet were very comfortable at all speeds.The toe caps are both padded just the right amount to offer additional protection without interfering with shifting.No, this boot does not have all the bells and whistles of a $600 pair of Daineses, but I challenge anyone to find a better boot at this price point. Overall, an excellent boot.

Tourmaster makes good stuff. For the boots, you really need to know your European size. I ordered the wide width, and yes, these are wide enough for my EE feet. There were a few spots where I needed to take an emery board to the hard part of the velcro, as the fusion points were really rough. Once those were smoothed out, these are good boots for the summer heat in Southern California.

I had to replace a pair of Tourmaster boots after at least 10 years. The old ones weee 13s and fit snug. First ordered a 13 and they were too tight. Went to a 14 and they fit perfect right out of the box. I’m in the middle of a long Moto trip, through all of the twisters we could find in Ca, at about 2000 miles that will go to 2600. They have been flawless. Fit is still good. They breathe well, even in the 105 degree weather we’ve been riding through.

I bought these boots based on the positive feedback and there were a perfect fit right out of the box. They are comfortable and I had no complaints until today one of the zippers came off of the track as I was pulling it up. I wasn’t expecting this as it wasn’t jammed or did I have difficulty with the zipper prior to this happening. The Velcro is the only thing that makes the boot usable but it’s not ideal. I’m extremely disappointed. Unfortunately the return window has just closed yesterday to even ask for a replacement.

Size was true to my normal size. I really like these boots, seem quite sturdy to me and they are easy to put on and take off.

Glad I ordered these.
