La biographie de la créatrice d'un des plus remarquables jardin de la seconde moitié du XXème.
Je suis un peu déçue, on aimerait entendre un peu plus parler de plantes et un peu moins de "j'ai rencontré X ou Y".

Great read.
This book is a real eye-opener. I knew a little about Beth Chatto as a gardener but I had no idea what a fascinating life she had led. And it’s a page-turner too - I couldn’t wait to find out what was going to happen next. The author has done a really great job with some tricky topics! Thankfully it’s an easy read and there are lots of pictures as well. Not too many of her garden but loads of Beth and all the people she knew. I don’t mind that because it’s really inspired me to visit the gardens near Colchester.

A beautifully produced book, well researched, sensitively written and a thoroughly enjoyable read.
A very interesting insight into the work and personal life of a woman from an ordinary, relatively humble background who went on to achieve outstanding success and to have a major influence as a plantswoman and gardener. A beautifully produced book, well researched, sensitively written and a thoroughly enjoyable read.
