I’m beyond impressed with the CanFish Fishing CamX. The 1080P HD clarity and 136° ultra-wide-angle lens gave me an entirely new perspective underwater. I could clearly see fish behavior and how they reacted to different lure actions, which has really helped improve my technique. The camera works flawlessly even at deep depths — I took it close to 500 feet and it held up perfectly. The motion sensing and segmented intelligent recording are extremely useful — no more hours of footage to sift through, just the action that matters. Wireless charging is convenient, and the app makes it easy to control and view recordings on the go. This device has quickly become one of my essential fishing tools. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants to step up their game!

This is great for two ways to find fish: 1. Float on the water for real-time viewing. 2. Sink to the bottom to watch video playback and learn about fish activity.

I’m not sure why but when the camera hits the water it freezes up on my screen and will not work until I take it back out of the water. Very frustrating to say the least. Please someone help me

Cumbersome process which limits feedback. In order to get feedback, camera must be used to record then data must be uploaded and then watch to review. Not exactly ideal when out on the water, especially the Gulf of Mexico. Though the camera is lightweight and easy to stow, I feel that there must be easier more efficient means to achieve recording. Additionally, a major obstacle to the functionality of the camera, is the inconsistent Bluetooth connectivity. The connectivity issues may also be 2 fold, relating to the Wi-Fi range which is NOT 50 meters as advertised. Wi-Fi connection seemed to be 30 meters at best. When footage was captured the images were clear and crisp. Because of the above glitches, obstacles, limitations, and lack of consistency... I feel there could be better options available in the $130 price range to achieve desired goals.

I will be returning the camera because of the 20 meter Wi-Fi range, line of sight dry land testing (tried both frequencies). Not close to 50 meter range, I would have settled for 40 meters. First time I tried to format the storage card it wouldn’t do it (froze). The next day it formatted with no problem. App interface was fine otherwise and picture quality seemed good (never used underwater), also build quality and delivery were excellent. Apple iPhone IOS 18.

The goods are very small. The design is very good. The camera is also very clear. It plays a good role in understanding the underwater situation!

Just got the CanFish Fishing Cam. the build quality is good, and with wireless charging. and the camera looks ready for action. I can’t wait to test it in the water!

Absolutely unusable for ice 🧊 fishing-battery life-15 minutes. You must reconnect camera every time out from the water, it's 5-10 minutes. Filming Quality so pour, doesn't matter green light turned on or not, my action camera taking for 10 times better picture and 2 hrs 4K than CamX. It was a bad idea to connect CamX only to phone 📱 with no alternative to managing it manually. Absolutely disappointed 😞 I will try it on the ocean fishing, but construction of this model allows to Filming only from the boat 🚢 with trolling .
