The unflavored tastes better than the vanilla to me. Vanilla has a chemical taste.

I use this as a meal replacement supplement for my morning workouts 5-6 days a week since I have limited time to make or grab something to eat following my workout. It is calorically dense and has plenty of nutrients in one scoop to sustain you for one meal. The unflavored / unsweetened flavor is a bit foul and is a little chunky by itself. However, it is a lot easier to mix compared to other calorically dense protein powders on the market. I recommend diluting it with water and mixing 2 scoops of whey protein with it for taste and extra protein and nutrients for a meal and/or post-workout. I highly recommend this product if you take your post-workout nutrition seriously.

Honestly, Huel is the best stuff I’ve found for a plant based nutritional shake. It’s not some cake tasting protein shake that many are used to, it’s plant based. So it will be grainier than those others but it’s damn good. Try it, you won’t regret it. You can live off this stuff as well.

I ordered the vanilla flavor once and it tasted good. Even better when comparing to the regular protein shakes we see around. So, I wanna try the “original version” of Huel. Well, big mistake. It taste bad, I couldn’t finish my shake, and I was tryin it hard, giving it a chance... Also tried to mix it with their Strawberry Flavor Booster and cocoa powder. Didn't work. The “original huel taste” wouldn’t go away! And plus, they don’t accept returns!

Hey! I just love this product, this is my second month using it, as a meal replacement for my breakfast and lunch. I skip the sugary, salty foods I used to eat, and have less cravings for them. I add two scoops to my blender bottles each morning and I’ll also eat walnuts, if I need something more solid. I enjoy the unflavored version, as the vanilla version tasted too sugary for my liking. Overall I give this item a 👍🏾

its pretty funky tasting, ( unflavored) had to pour out the rest. perhaps its how much powder i used, (3 tablespoons) as i read that was the equivalent, but no, 4 tablespoons equals 50g of powder which they recommend. at that strength it would be too thick for sure. i used banana and peanut butter for flavorings, plus milk/ice for a shake like mix. tomorrow i will try coffee and milk. i have two bags of this stuff so yeah. got to use it. *shrugs it is what it is. a meal replacement. at least it doesnt use wood cellulose to bulk up and appetite suppressant.
