The abalone is a solid thick piece. Flip it over and you see abalone on the back. The abalone is very nice, iridescent, colorful, and shiny.The size of the pendant met my expectations and was consistent with the product description on Amazon.The black box and the black pouch are also very nice. They're not throw-aways.I will be looking at buying more from Hawaiian Silver Jewelry.

The pendant is lovely and the perfect size. I love it. I took one star off because of the chain. The opening of the clasp is very small as is the link to fit into it. I find it very difficult to manuver so I am using a different chain. Don't let the chain stop you from making this purchase. Who doesn't have an extra silver chain laying around.
