Very nice shoes. Comfortable and classy looking. However, part of the paint on one of the gold details was peeling away so have knocked a star off for that. An issue which should really have been picked up by quality control before leaving the factory.

Impressed that the description says to buy 1 size larger than usual as these come up smaller than the quoted size, but WISH I HAD SEEN THAT BEFORE ORDERING! I have worn these for a short while a few times a day for 3 days to break them in. They do fit me, which is not true for all slip-on shoes, but I am now using a shoe stretcher to stretch them a little and make them more comfortable as I have wide feet and a high bridge. If you buy a half to a full size larger than usual then you will have the correct size. These are the fanciest shoes I have owned and I bought them purely as an evening shoe, especially for black-tie and suit event - they are too far fancy for me for day-time use, but then I am boring, I can see my extravert step-father or a young John Travolta using these during the day with the high sheen patient leather with contrasting matt bridge and gold-coloured badge. Internals are leather and sole is rubber. They would be great for a remake of Saturday Night Fever, with all those shots of shoes!

Reading the listing for this pair of shoes I opted for the 44s instead of my usual 43. The shoes arrives and if they had been 43 I wouldn't have got them on. These 44s are snug, though the styling means a pointy toe box so you might need to go even larger if you have wide feet, or need the toe space. For me they are comfortable for an evening but not all day. The exterior of the shoes is not leather, only the lining maybe. It feels kind of plastic and shows fingermarks really easily. I like he contrasting matt section over the top of the foot and that helps as when you walk that is the section that flexes. The soles are quite grippy and even on wet tiles I didn't slip.

A simple pair of shoes which are stylish and very comfortable. I’ve wide feet and these fit comfortably without rubbing. I love the mixture of glossy leather and the matt finish. The heal is subtle and not to chunky. No blisters after wearing all day. Very happy with them.
