Nordic Edge: Vol. 3

Nordic Edge Vol 3 is a very nice and profesional model book. All subjects are WWII based and there is a good balance between allied and german subjects.There are no aircraft and only a single diorama with a ship (well part of a ship) - so the focus is on vehicles, figures and dioramas. The scale is either 1/35 or 1/48.The quality of the work presented is from high to excellent - only a single figure falls through (IMO).Some of the works presented have lenghty text presenting the work process with some pictures of the different work stages and progress - others only shown the finished result and are more oriented at sheer inspiration - than how to do it. This also give a godd balance and thus avoids repetition.All in all the book offers excellent value for money - you would have to buy 50 or so model magazines to have the same clear photos of really impressive work.Excellent book for the serious modeller.
