Tasty and convenient
This sweetcorn is simply the best. Add a can of this to bakes for extra fibre and colour plus part of your five a day.Good value too.

An acceptable "lazy" meal at good value.
Let's get one thing out of the way, this isn't a patch on homemade ratatouille, but like jarred tomato sauce it's a perfectly acceptable mid-week shortcut, something you won't look at with a sinking heart when the weather is foul, you've got the lurgy and neither want to shop nor faff about, and it's packed full of vegetables. This ratatouille is quite sloppy and very heavy on the courgettes, what aromatics there are are on the discrete side while the addition of lemon juice is generous. It's not how I make it at all but it's okay. It makes a nice accompaniment to lamb or pork chops, or spicy sausages, or as a sauce to serve with panisse au four. You can use it as a base with mince for an improvised bake of some sort, or scramble eggs into it Greek style and serve with crusty bread. As a very quick lazy meal add tinned white beans, butter beans for preference, or potato chunks, olives and more spices or herbs of choice (try allspice) and simmer until done and the stew has thickened with the starches. Sprinkle over feta and serve. Feel virtuously full of vegetables and comfort. Not a bad buy at just under a pound a tin.

So difficult to get hold of!
Absolutely delighted with my purchase! Ive been using Epicure Asparagus every party season (for the last 51 years) to make ham and asparagus rolls - just doesn’t work with fresh asparagus. They disappear quick as a flash, so it’s well worth the search!

several tins very badly dented
4 of the 12 tins were significantly dented, one very badly, making contents unusable.
