Does Not Work on Fabric Upholstery
The pads' adhesive is too weak to grab and hold on to knit polyester upholstery fabric. Perhaps this would work better on leather. On my sofa, it stuck for about 5 minutes. I finally had to secure it in place with ball pins. I give 2 stars because the plastic is thick and pre cut but definitely not worth the price.Update: Seller reached out and sent out a new set of couch guards and has advised to not wrap the guard around the couch legs (even though the same is indicated in their pictures) but to cut the strips into 2 and put them on the two sides of the couch leg. I have yet to try this and will update this review if it ends up working!Update 2: I was able to cut the wrap into 2 strips and stick them to the 2 sides of my couch arm/ leg. Alas, within 10 minutes of application, the couch guard peeled right off the upholstery on its own. I am leaving the rating at 3 stars because the seller seemed to have a genuine interest in crafting a solution for my needs.

pretty good, but not as sticky on corners
we like this quite a bit! We have a 16 week old kitten who is still learning where she is allowed to scratch. She also has odd preferences for softer, and even largely smooth surfaces. This is a good protector for our couch that she really can't damage., but it also isn't a huge pain to put on. For us this didn't do great on the corners, but our couch has curved corners so you can't fold it. That being said we have one exposed corner, so we used two different ones - one on each side. We kind of liked that this wasn't so incredibly sticky that it leaves a nasty residue. Winner winner, chicken dinner for us!

Does the Trick
We just bought new leather couches and the product does its intended purpose. The fact that its clear makes it blend in better. I took off one star because I am finding myself in these first two weeks having to occasionally press down on the laminate because it is not sticking tightly to the couch. Probably a lot better on a cloth couch versus a leather one, of course it didn't help that the product came in a rolled up piece instead of flat which we straightened out by placing some books on it overnight on a table to flatten it out.

Works well, but isn’t the nicest looking
I used this to stop my cat from scratching the corners of my couches. It was easy to install, just peel the back of the plastic off and stick it wherever you want. Not going to lie, it’s pretty ugly on the couch because it’s a square of shiny plastic, but it at least protects where my cat scratches the most. They’re ugly, so I hide these by covering them with blankets when my guests come over.

Didn't stick
I would have been happier if the pieces actually came in a narrower size. They had to be cut to fit my recliners and they didn't stick very well, if I just bent them around to the side. The one that I placed lengthwise along the chair is starting to lift after 2 weeks. Wouldn't buy it again.

Seems to have worked for us.
Make sure that the protectors are laid out flat for a while before trying to put them on. I might look a little tacky on the furniture, but it did stop our cat from scratching the furniture.

Good quality overall
Pros - easy installation, stays flat, and for the most part isn't noticeable.Con - depends on your furniture, with my couches the arm rest is rounded and comes down ~5 inches, so the units have to be installed below the arm rest. Of course my cats then stand up and scratch the arm rest; go figure.

Have scissors to fit your furniture
Pros: easy to install on fabric, it just works.Cons: I would not want to puncture nice leather, maybe include a double sided tape or Velcro system in the future. All in all for price I give it a 4/5 starsSide note: include some instruction manualDouble sided tape would work great 👍
