I originally purchased this item for travel abroad to steam out clothes from our luggage. I purchased a converter so that I’d be able to use it. Unfortunately, I didn’t have time to test the product before leaving for my trip. Upon arrival in Germany for a wedding, I took my gown out to steam out the wrinkles. The steamer didn’t work. I thought maybe it was my converter. But, other items were working when plugged into the converter. So after returning home, I tried to use it again to see if the steamer would work. It did not. So, I notified Amazon and even though it was past the return date, they put me in contact with the seller. The same day, the seller replied that a new replacement steamer would be sent right away. No questions and no request for the original steamer to be returned. I’m happy to say the new steamer works great!! Only downside is it’s small and the water has to be replaced about every 5-10 minutes. But it really pulls those wrinkles out, better than my steam iron. I’m a happy customer!! This little steamer is great for what it is - inexpensive, no-frills unit for quick jobs on lighter fabrics. It's so much quicker and easier than busting out the iron and board in the mornings. It heats up quickly, but beware of the steam!!! It works perfectly on my blouses, dresses and some pants. Not the best for thick fabrics like sweaters or thicker pants, but it does the job for what I bought it for. If this doesn't work for you on lighter fabrics, note that it's not a fairy wand!! You can't just wave it near the fabric. It needs to be right up against the fabric, pulling taut. For this reason, my only criticism would be that I would prefer it to be angled so I can reach behind the fabric and point it towards myself, that way the fabric could pull taut and get steamed better. As the handle is designed, it's awkward to angle it that way. It holds enough water to steam 2-3 light blouses or one larger/thicker item. For the price and knowing its limitations, you can't go wrong.

I Just purchased this last week for my upcoming trip. I hate wrinkles in clothes. I need to iron my clothes but i can not travel with my large size iron. I tried it today before traveling. It comes with a glove I think it for in case of being burnt by hot water. I just used for about 5 minute and the wrinkles in pants have all gone. The container can fill about 2cups of water. I think it can use for 2 clothes every full of water. Enough for travel. It did the job satisfactorily. I recommend this item because of the price, size, lightweight and convenience.

I just received it and I love that its super light weight and easy to use. Heats up really quick. I tested it on some of my more stubborn cottons and it took the wrinkles out nicely. I had purchased another, more expensive one 6 months ago and it weighed a TON! It went back. I really only want this for travel purposes so I love that its compact, light weight and that the cord is a decent length so I'm not glued to the wall lol. I like that it comes with a mitt to prevent hand burns from the steam..its a plus. I guess if I had to nit pick anything, I would ask the manufacturer to incorporate a travel bag or pouch even if it meant raising the price a bit

First, this is a really good steamer - especially for it's small size. Water gets hot super fast, and it steams very powerfully and effectively. That being said, if you even begin to tilt it out of straight vertical, you will get spatter. So just know that and if you order, be ok with it.

This is a nifty little steamer. I've never used a steamer before, so I have nothing to compare it to. That being said, having no experience with steamers, it was very easy to figure out how to use one. I feel like it heats up and is ready to use very fast. It's also nice and small, which is great for me because I have limited storage space. I like to use it on large felt items I order for my kiddos. Those things tend to arrive folded up and permanently bent, but this little steamer takes the bends right out of them. Love it!

UPDATE: After posting my original review I was contacted by the seller offering a refund or replacement. Initially I ignored their request but they followed up, as they felt the item may have been defective. I agreed for a replacement if they felt it was defective and instead they sent me a larger item. That item, which has 240ml, lasted 15 minutes! It does lead me to believe the original item I purchased could have been defective because the difference from 150ml to 240ml should not have been an additional 10 minutes of use. Overall, I cannot say more about the original product. I can say that the seller made it right by offering a refund or replacement and the replacement item lasts longer than I expected and is still small and portable. They were a little pushy, but ultimately I got a product that works well. While I don't recommend the 150ml steamer, I do recommend their larger steamer. Unfortunately, the steam really only lasts 5 minutes and the amount/consistency of steam decreased after about 3 minutes. It seems that once about half of the steam is gone it doesn't have the power to emit enough steam to de-wrinkle. After 5 minutes, the water was pretty much gone. While it works for the first three minutes, it doesn't last long enough to be worth this product. I would purchase a larger steamer for more effective use.
