Just what I wanted.
I've been in this house over thirty years now. The original frost free faucet was installed with a screw on anti-siphon device (immediately removed and discarded) as well as a shutoff valve with a bleed nipple so you could drain it in the winter. That faucet wore out and I couldn't find parts for it so I replaced it with a similar one from my local big box outfit. What I didn't realize until after I'd installed it was that it had an internal anti-siphon device that wouldn't let you drain the line anymore. Basically, when you turned it off, it drained the 8" frost free section and that was it. Anyway, I meant to take it apart and remove that feature, but I never did. To add insult to injury, I got sick that winter and never got around to removing the hose from that faucet, I did however turn off the water. Yup, it froze and split.I bought this fixture specifically because it doesn't have the built in anti-siphon feature. I really prefer having to disconnect the hose and being able to drain the whole line. The fixture itself is as described, and seems to be very well made. The neck of it (where the hose attaches) seems to be a little less then full flow diameter, but if it's restricting flow, you couldn't tell it by me. I'm fully expecting it to last long after I sell this place and move to a retirement home somewhere. In the mean time, if I have to replace the one out front, I'll be buying another one of these.

Be careful with sizing...
The diagram for a "10-inch valve" shows the main portion of the valve body to be 10" long. While it doesn't show the additional length from the end of the smooth pipe to the tip of the threads (thereby allowing customers to determine the overall length), based on the photo of the 4" valve, one could deduce that the end portion is about 2" long. Well, it's not. The 10" valve body is only 9" long. And the valve seat/threaded portion is actually 2.5" long - making the overall length of the 10" valve (from flange to end of threads) 11.5". Why does that matter? My wall is 12" thick, and because I didn't want 2" of additional pipe sticking out into my basement, I opted for the 10" valve, figuring I'd just clear the inside hole with 12". Since the 10" section is actually only 9", I came up short. I was able to rectify this by making the hole larger and angling the tubing into the wall. It works, but it is not ideal. The valve quality is good, and the stem only has to be turned about 2 full turns from completely open to closed. I am not dissatisfied with the valve, but I do wish the drawings in the listing were more accurate. To the seller: Please update your photos with the correct dimensions - ideally showing the complete/overall length from flange to tip of threaded end.

A good cheap replacement if done correctly
I had my spigot busted in winter due to the hose connected. I live in a newly built house in Texas and the builder knew it was my fault so not covering anything. I contacted the plumber to get it fixed and I was quoted around $3k to open the drywall and rebuild the bricks to have it replaced sounded too much then I watch some youtube videos and gave it a try my self. I just removed the calk and unscrew the busted one out put some teflon tape on threads and put a new one in but since I am a rookie I over tightened it and caused the new spigot pipe twisted ( Obviously my falut) ordered another one and thankfully Amazon delivered it in 24 hours so with second one I learned my lesson and didn’t overtightened it. so far no leaking and all seems to be good now. I wanted to thank this product and myself to save me a few hundred bucks atleaset. size and everything was exact as described. Thank you!

Excellent frostproof hose bibb.
Replaced a 30-year-old hose bibb that had corroded to pieces. This one is made much better. It's also a bit different; rather than a couple of full turns to open, this opens in about a half a turn. And the old one occasionally started buzzing as the flow through it rattled the valve inside, but this one has been nothing but silent. I really like it, might have to buy a couple more to replace my other aging hose bibbs.

Was a returned item
Was returned & refurbished, so I got it for $10! Brand new, not a thing wrong with it. Now I'm looking for returned/refurbished anytime I order anything. Thanks Amazon.

Solid construction
Great, solid chrome plated brass construction. Works wel. This is the shortest Frost free valve I could find. After installing it I had to shave 1/4” from the inside drywall so it would fit properly.

Works well, but it's longer than 8"
I'm SICK of using faucets with vacuum breakers on them. They leak water down the side of my house, and seem to have a mind of their own. Some work for a little while, then become a pain. I installed this brand of faucet, and I no longer have leaks, it's quieter in the house with the water faucet fully opened, and has way more flow than my last vacuum breaker faucet. My sprinkler shoots up to 10 feet further now.**The only thing that really irritated me about this faucet is that it isn't 8". It was .5-1" longer than a standard 8" faucet, so I was forced to make a wooden plywood spacer to accommodate it in the house wall.

Works perfectly, no more frozen pipe
Installed this to replace an old frost free that was installed incorrectly, which didn't allow the water to drain out(angled up). It froze and cracked the tube. This unit replaced it, is of better quality/material and was installed with a slight downward angle allowing it to drain completely when turned off.
