80 Pieces Natural Hand Cut Wooden Candle Wicks for Candles Making and Candle DIY, 5"

I have bought sets of wooden wicks before, and they were so thin that you could see through them and the best was still less than 0.4mm thick. No wonder people were advising doubling. even tripling up!These are perfect in every way.All of them are roughly over 130mm (5") in length and 12mm (0.70")They can all be easily cut with a craft knife and steel ruler to any size that you require.However, before you start cutting up and doubling up, thse are easily over TWICE the thickness of the other two brands that I have tried!I made a candle with just one, soaked wick from these people, the flame is the normal size, but much stronger and no disappearing into the solid wax and going out!I even tried it outside for an hour, and it just sat there, blowing about a bit, but it didn't go out!So if you used them with citronella, they would be ideal for outside in the summer!THEN you might just want to double up to get a larger and stronger outside sized flame!These are excellent and I will definitely be buying again as they can be cut and used however you want :-)Excellent value for money.

Bought for my wife as she loves making candles. She says they are brilliant and loves the way they crackle when they burn.

Great! I recommend to get them to stay lit - soak the wicks in oil (any food cooking oil) over night before making the candle.

The candles don't burn so good with these wicks. My normal traditional wicks work much better.

Easy to use

Really disappointed by the lack of bases. Surely you should get 80 bases with the 80 wooden wicks.

I thought I was on to a bargain until this arrived and I unpacked them.The wicks are so flimsy that they are partially see-through. The sustainers even seem cheap - I didn't realise there were multiple types!? - difficult to get a wick into and immediately losing shape as a result.Haven't bothered burning any - immediately returned due to the poor quality of both the wicks and sustainers.
