For reference ‘I think’ I have 2c or 3a waves/curls. My hair is very fine and thrives in hummdity, but can often become frizzy and undefined. This seems to be the only mousse I’ve tried that actually effective for my hair type. It’s very lightweight and doesn’t feel crunchy but gives me naturally defined waves/curls and incredible volume. Plus it last all day. It’s super easy to use, you can air dry or diffuse. Both have looked good in my opinion. I will say I was expecting a more shaving cream like texture but it’s more like a foaming soap. Every other product I tried was far to heavy, so I love the feel of this. This is the first time I’ve really appreciated my natural hair so I highly recommend.

I love this. It helps my barely wavy hair have more of a defined curl, and it's really lightweight and soft - no crispity crunchity bits. And maybe I'm crazy, but the scent (which is VERY light) reminds me faintly of Christmas tree sap. Love love love.

I have fine hair, a lot of it, with a texture pattern that spans from 2a to 2c. I'm always trying new products to find the things that really work for my hair. This, unfortunately, did not wow me. It works well, it's a medium hold mousse, does form a slight cast...but it's sticky. My hair does look good after using it, but it feels icky and I do not like the smell.

Absolutely love this for my thick wavy kinda curly hair. I have a lot of hair thats thick. I used my leave in spray a dollop of leave in balm moroccan oil and just this product. Let it air dry 50% then used dryer and its awesome. I use this a refresher too. Its so light and smells amazing!!!! Not flaky and not drying i use about 4-5 pumps

I think this product is really good for less defined curls and oil hair (which is what I have). I initally really liked this product as it defined my waves very well, held volume in my hair till wash day, smells great, and it very light weight and easy to use. My issue is I simultaneously have thick and super thin hair, which is very frustrating and tangles very easily. I am alrerady super prone to rats nets and massive knots and this product really just exacerbates this problem. With the few times I've used it, my hair has significantly more knots and MASSIVE rats nests, which makes me very sad because I wanted this to work so so so so bad.

This is my favorite curly hair product and I feel like I’ve tried them all. It’s a foam, not a heavy mousse, which makes a huge difference. You never get that dreaded crunch and yet you still get defined curls. I have 2c 3a course hair and this plus some leave in conditioner makes my hair super soft and defined. It’s not greasy, holds great and gives me great volume.

I love using this! its very light weight, holds my waves for many days and smells great. its very easy to use and is very worth the money.

Mixed opinions after the first few uses. Not really a mousse at all, but rather a foam? I’ve never experienced the texture of this hair product, and I’ve used many mousses. Doesn’t offer any hold, don’t expect a cast of any kind to form on the hair. I was waiting waiting waiting to feel a cast which usually tells me my hair is totally dry, but it never came. It did give me a nice texture, with nice waves and curls, which tend to disappear for me in the dry winter months. In the humid summer my hair has a kind of its own, and curls up immediately. Expect to have to use an additional mousse or gel product to get any sort of hold on those waves/curls. Not a one and done type of product. I do really like the waves and curls it gave me, but without additional gel, they fell out quickly. With additional gel and they’ve lasted me a couple days before I need a wash and a redo.

The bottle didn't come with any plastic wrapping or safety seals, and before I even opened it I noticed there was a hair inside the cap and the bottle is disgusting and dirty.

Really nice if you still like a bit of frizz and not a full crunch effect!
