Olight PL-2 (PL2) 1200 Lumen LED Weapon/Pistol Light with EdisonBright Battery Carry case Bundle (Black)

Awesome light! Very bright and durable. I was looking at several models, sure fire, crimson trace, and stream light. Glad I went with olight. Super bright, nice sturdy aluminum body, great design and it looks great for a fraction of the price of the sure fire lights. You will not be disappointed with this light! I have a viridian tac light / laser on one of my guns, awesome light but this one is way brighter and feels way more durable than the viridian does and was half the price.

I bought this Olight for my pistol and a Streamlight TLR-2 green laser for my rifle. This Olight is 2 to 3 times as bright as the Streamlight TLR-2. The Streamlight has a green laser but the flashlight part of it is weak compared to this Olight. Why can't Streamlight do better than that. Streamlight is privately owned and based in Pennsylvania. Olight is based in China. Why does a company in China make a more powerful light. Streamlight you need to pick up the pace of your innovation! I am going next to review the Streamlight TLR-2 I just bought and give it a low rating based on cost and brightness. Olight makes a laser/light combination but only in a red laser. I needed a green laser so I would not confuse it with my red dot on my rifle. If Olight had made a green laser/light I would have bought it instead of Streamlight. Streamlight, why cant you keep up with Olight. Also, you are 50% more expensive for your laser/light that is less than half as bright.If you need a super bright blinding light for your defensive gun, this Olight is the way to go. It is the most powerful flashlight I have ever seen and I have dozens of bright LED flashlights.

The Olight Pl-2 is really bright. I like this light better than a TLR-1. I like the on/off switch better than TLR-1 switch. I mounted the PL2 on a 3rd gen Glock 17, it mounted and fit nice and locked solid. It stuck out past the muzzle about 1/2 an inch. The battery carry case is nice. It holds spare batteries. Without carrying a ton of batteries. It will hold 4 cr123 batteries. edisonbright was great to do business with.

Fits perfect on my S&W MP40. 1 bad point; it will get hot if you leave it on for an extended period.

IMHO these are the best firearm lights you can buy. The price is fair and the quality is outstanding. the controls are intuitive and don't take much to get used to it. The best part is the light is designed to do what you want without having to cycle through different settings. You hold the button and when you let go the light turns off. If you tap the button the light stays on. no cycling though strobe, low, high, SOS, and all the others.

I bought this as a duty light for my Glock 19. The light is brighter than the comparable Streamlight version carried by some of m colleagues. I was skeptical of the push button on and off. I was pleasantly surprised by the intuitive switch. A quick press of the button will turn the light on; however, if you long press the button it remains on until you release the button. This is my second O-Light flashlight and I am hoping it has the same durability as my first which I still use. I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend the light for duty applications.

Great little light. This light does the job. There is nothing I do not like about this light. Easy to carry and brite enough to use in a tactical system and so easy to carry. I like it so much I am going to buy one or two more. You can clip it to your hat and be hands free and you do get the full 1000 luminous out of it.
