I purchased these drills for drilling metal as it stated they were Titanium Coated Steel Drill Bits. I have tried 6 of the drills to drill mild steel and they hardlymade a scratch on the surface let alone drill a hole.I am a retired sheet metal worker so I do know what to expectfrom a drill. They do drill soft wood .

Some of the bits that were not in plastic bags showed signs of rusting through the alleged 'titanium' coating when purchased.More like gold paint me thinks.

Please do not bother buying these, they are blunt out of the box, are not straight, and snap at the slightest pressure. Got through 5 in a few minutes without it making a dent.

These will not drill steel well. i have a small drill sharping machine that sharpens these drill, you will definitely need one to make good use of these drills.

No good for metal which I was led to believe, a true hss bit would snap under too much pressure not bend when refusing to drill into metal complete waste of time

These are quite possibly the worst drill bits I have ever bought. If you are drilling anything other than soft plastic do NOT buy these. They are not titanium coated but are painted to give the impression of titanium coating. They have not been ground sharp and are an absolute waste of money.

These drills are not HSS drills . They are cheap rubbish and would only be used for soft wood!!

Absolute rubbish product. The drill bits are not sharp and will not cut metal which they are designed to do. Tried to drill some metal the drill bit hardly scratched the surface let alone drill through it. Please do not buy this product, you will be disappointed.
