While the Artqiu Framing Tool is a quick way to measure distance between studs, it leaves the studs rattling around unsupported which makes nailing difficult. I suggest they add a screw clamp to stabilize the work.

I never thought much about a framing jig, but this changes my mind. For fast line-up of two-by-fours, this tool takes the cake. It simplifies layout of your project when doing a floor setup of a wall or other 16" on center systems. It guarantees your studs will fall exactly in place as it uses the last stud to set up the next, and the next, and so on. The placement of the jig allows shooting or screwing your fasteners from the top plate or into the vertical stud.Built sturdily and comes with a handle to easily carry it on the job.Recommended.

This tool is exactly what I expected when I ordered it and a little more.The side pockets are exactly 16 on center (on the 16" model) and fit securely on 2x lumber 2x4, 2x6 and 2x8 works. I expected that much.This is a solid cast aluminum piece with no fasteners on it and it kind of a matte / rough cast finish to it.The added bonus they include is it does have feet on the bottom and sides that are square to the other dimensions and allows you to still use the tool in places where you can't clip it over the top or bottom plates it also allows you to use it against a stud pack. And avoid wires or pipes that may exist.When use this clipped on the top / bottom plate and clipped on the stud or joist it holds pretty securely and holds the studs / joists pretty square, if you had 1 on either end it would probably hold dead square.Overall I like this tool and look forward to getting more time on it.

We are finishing a basement and this tool is perfect for the job. Quickly centers each stud right where it should be to nail it in place. much quicker and more accurate than measuring and marking the location of each stud. Very happy with this.Lightweight aluminum and easy to handle.

I wish I bought this years ago. It's made of solid alluminum which I'm sure will last forever. No more measuring and marking. It holds everything in place while nailing. Great addition to the tool box.
