Peas Sugar Snap Certified Organic Seeds 18 Grams

These sprouted quickly and grew fast, just as they should. I forgot to soak them first, and they still managed to germinate in less than a week. I sowed them January 3rd (gotta love my climate), and they are now (March 8) about 3' tall. There is a shelf nearby that casts a shadow on the upper part of my pea plants, and I've noticed that the lower leaves which get full sun are yellowed and small, whereas the upper leaves that get some shade are large, robust, and a lovely color. Recommend something less than 100% full sun.

Not a great germination rate.

These peas have grown well in my garden. So far we've gotten a couple of handfuls of peas off our plants (I think I have ten or twelve plants growing), with more coming. They aren't super producers, but are doing well. I had a hard time getting the dried peas to germinate in the ground--almost all the plants I tried planting that way didn't come up (even after soaking). But those that I let germinate inside a plastic bag on a wet paper towel (and then planted), have grown just fine. I also planted some in plastic cups and let them start growing indoors and then transplanted them, and those worked just fine too. I would buy these again, and will keep the rest to use in future gardens.

These Sprouted quick and are producing beautiful and strong little plants! Can't wait to eat them! I just wish I could figure out if I needed to use a stake for them to grow up.... Any advice?

I have been gardening for many years, usually relying on the seeds in the grocery or hardware store. I was disappointed in their selection of organic seeds and wanted to give something else a try. I planted these seeds last year, placing them in my usual spot outside and watering heavily for a couple days, and I swear every single one of them sprouted within the week! Not only were they quick to sprout, but they produced some of the most elegant and plentiful groupings of flowers I had ever seen, and those turned into a harvest so big I ended up giving them to neighbors, freezing them, and still had pea salad for weeks! I never thought I would write a review about peas, but here it is! I couldn't be more satisfied. Will definitely buy other varieties produced by this manufacturer.

Germination was 90% and the seedlings became healthy and strong right off the bat. They had to be trans planted into 6" pots within the second week. Can't wait to put them in the ground.

Not much to say, these are great with a high germination rate. I planted a row of about 25 and only 1 did not emerge. Be sure to read the directions on the package. They recommend planting a row with each pea spaced 2" apart (yes 2"). They also suggest soaking them in water for 12-24hrs before planting. The beans are shipped dehydrated, so this step is necessary for the best results.We will find out in a few weeks/months how tasty these things are.

Everything was correct about this product. The seeds germinated in less than 10 days. The peas are growing well. I recommend this product.
