For those paintings that are going to have a pretty black or solid black background, these canvases cannot be beat. Saves so much time, black washing a white canvas, sometimes with several layers to say nothing of saving on black paint. I have just taken up instructing paint parties and these are also a Godsend for the participants who struggle to make even lines against their subject matter. Again, to say nothing of saving on black paint because newbs reeeeeallly like to slather that stuff on.

These canvases were the right touch for a Halloween project I'm doing this year. I did 31 Halloween paintings a couple years ago and I wanna do an art show with my paintings but the reason I bought these 8x10 canvases was not only for making them title card paintings but also synopsis paintings to explain what's going on in each Halloween painting. Thanks a million, you guys!!! I had lots of fun with this collection.

Nice pack of canvasI only need 1 good coat of black to start painting on them. [Always use the black you use that you paint with to cover the background, or you will see the difference in tonal values] all eventually warped but that's usually the case with 1/8 inch board canvas...

Multipack great for mini art projects

I've been learning to paint and I'm glad Amazon has all the products I need. I also do pencil drawings which I prefer. Amazon has been great!

I used this black canvas panel to paint my “Quirky Bird” for an upcoming Youth Paint Party. My paints flowed easily and the black canvas makes the neon and glow-in-the-dark paints stand out nicely.

It wasn’t what my fiancé wanted but she used them anyway. And after she was done we both thought they were perfect for our needs.

Leider sind fast alle Malgründe verschmutzt. Die Oberfläche ist recht grobkörnig, läßt sich aber mit Acryl recht gut bemalen. Für Kinder gut zu handhaben.

Ein Stern ist zu viel! Die Mahlkartons sind unbrauchbar. Entweder grau oder weiß gefleckt aber nicht schwarz. Mein Rat: lieber weisse Mahlkartons kaufen.
