i got this after a surgery that didn't go so well. i have worn 4 other braces including a custom made one by my occupational therapist. it is super lightweight but it keeps my thumb from hanging out feeling vulnerable. my occupational therapist is so taken by it he wrote the name down to recommend to other patients. i normally wear xsmall and this is snug on me. i would suggest maybe sizing up unless you're really on the smaller side of a small. there are 2 braces in a pack. i simply can't say enough about this little brace. i will be in ot for a full 6 months righting the wrong but i love this unobtrusive brace. i truly don't even feel it and most people don't even see it. wonderful little helper.

I had a laceration injury on the side of my hand just above the thumb, and the urgent care used an ace bandage to hold the dressing in place. This worked fine for a day while resting, but at work it moved around and wasn't working for me.Saw this support and ordered it and it worked perfectly to hold the dressing in place and as a bonus to help the swelling. There was 2 in the pack, which meant that when one got dirty I could change over to the other one while I washed the first one and let it dry . I washed it with a nail brush and some soft soap and it came up like new and dried perfectly.I had no allergic reaction to it, and no irritation. Its not particularly supportive, but it's perfect to hold a dressing in place and protect it from dirt and water.

I use this brace all day every day for pain at the base of my thumb. I have an appointment to diagnose what is wrong, but in the meantime, this brace is comfortable, breathable, and lightweight. I originally bought it to wear cycling, but it's great for everyday. It doesn't take the pain away completely, but it helps keep my thumb stable and it is less likely to be irritated by movement of my hand. Not perfect, but it helps.

This "brace" is best used to fool someone into thinking you're hurt. It offers zero support - it wouldn't hold a mouse like a hammock. And - after using it for a few days and getting zero relief, it can't be retuned for refund. Don't waste your money. It's complete trash.

Unfortunately the material seam at wrist comes apart after daily use of only a few weeks.Have been hand washing daily in warm water and air drying but all edges are fraying.Medium a bit long in the thumb so fits a bit tight at knuckle.Overall good wrist joint support with minimal compression.Thin design allows for work or winter gloves to be worn over.Not many options out there just wish it held up better.

After wearing they relieve my pain for a while.

I have a growth/tumor at the base of my thumb, palm side, that is defecting the nerve. Every time I move the thumb in the slightest, it sends a pain shooting through my wrist and up my arm. I bought this, so that until I can get surgery, my hope was this would limit thumb movement and I was right! Gives great support to the thumb. Has alleviated much of the strain on my thumb, and my pain level has decreased. Fits great, easy on and off.

Not very well made.I bought these for my son, who has autism. He bites his hand, and thought this might help. We've had it only one week, and threads are already sticking out all over. They also aren't good for compression after a week. They stretch out, and don't stay in place as well.Not what I expected for the price 🤷🏼‍♀️
