They smell great and I can’t wait to get to the gems inside!

I ordered these primarily because we have a kid who loves gemstones, and I thought these would be a fun way to indulge that interest. I used the yellow one as a hand soap - I assume that's the "Herbal Harmony" scent, but honestly it just smells like standard orange glycerine bar soap to me. It looks great, though, and both of them have pretty, sparkly, gold layers. They are of a substantial size, as well, I think it will take quite some time to get to the stones that are embedded inside. We put the green one in the kids' shower so I didn't personally test it since I assume they used it, but I did give it a sniff and did not notice a eucalyptus scent - which I appreciate, I'm not a big fan of the smell of eucalyptus, but it does seem like maybe it doesn't align exactly with the description. Perhaps when it's wet it has a stronger smell, but I didn't notice much difference from the yellow.

The Earth & Home Rock Soap Set feels like something you might stumble across in a small-town gift shop on a foggy night, daring you to take it home. Each bar is big, about 4.5"x2"x2", with layers of color that look almost geological, like you have split open a piece of earth itself. The scents hit you right away. They are strong and distinct, not muddled or faint. The green gemstone soap in particular, with eucalyptus and mint, is crisp and sharp, like breathing in cold air on a dark winter morning. It lingers, but in a way that is clean and pleasant. Here is the strange part: the soaps are so beautiful that using them feels almost wrong, as if you are slowly eroding a piece of art. Their shape, while striking, is a little awkward to hold, but once you lather them up they foam easily and leave your skin soft and fresh. It is a small compromise for something that looks this striking on the sink. The hidden crystal inside is both the promise and the hook. Each wash brings you closer to what lies beneath, and there is a quiet anticipation in knowing there is something waiting for you in the center. If you want soap that is more than just soap, something decorative, fragrant, and a little mysterious, this set delivers. Beautiful to look at, effective to use, and a unique gift idea. Just be prepared: you may find yourself hesitating before you let the water wear them away.

These are solid quality soaps with a nice scent and a fun little gem hidden inside. They’re a good size and feel like they’ll last a while. I used one as a sink soap and it lathers well without drying out my hands. Not cheap for two bars, but they look great and would make an awesome little gift. Bonus points for actually being usable and not just decorative.

The Earth & Home Rock Soap Set of 2 Gemstone Soaps with Real Crystals Inside is very pretty with large, multiple layer soaps sized 4.5"x2"x2". The different scents are strong, pleasant, and quite distinct. My favorite of the two is the green gemstone soap with the eucalyptus and mint scents. The shape, while attractive, is a little awkward to handle while washing. The soap foams up well and leaves my hands clean and soft feeling. The biggest downside is these soaps are so pretty, I almost hate to wash with them. I am looking forward to uncovering the gemstone within.

This makes a unique gift. Not only is the soap fragrant and has a unique crystal shape but there is a surprise inside. It also lathers nicely and is easier to hold. You can tell that love went into making these soaps. They are beautiful, and the stone shape is unique. They make a perfect gift for a gem lover. They are gentle on my skin and smell nice while still smelling natural. There are supposed to be real gems inside, so I can't wait to get to those. Fun but also practical at the same time. The soaps are decent-sized and high quality, but it still feels a tad pricey for 2 bars of soap. I would really only order them as a gift.
