Men's Team Relax Iv Jacket Track

This review is for the Arena Men’s Team Relax Jacket (Size - Small, Color - White/Navy/Red). I received a free taxable sample of this jacket to review in my search for a nice everyday track jacket layer.The jacket weighs 460 grams and is made out of a nice 100% polyester fabric that has a good thickness and weight to it. The jacket looks and feels like a standard track jacket and is cut towards a slimmer yet comfortable fit with a shoulder-to-shoulder width of approximately 17” and chest width of 20” across horizontally. The sleeves have a good length to them at about 26” in length (34” from between the shoulders plus sleeve) with a flat width of 4” right before the 2 ¾” long elastic cuff. I found the length and width of the sleeve made it comfortable but not loose around the upper torso of my slimmer build (5’ 9”, 135 pounds).The side panel construction of the jacket also contributed to the overall comfort of wearing the jacket by providing a little extra width around the waist and hips. The way the jacket is cut allows the 27” length to end at about the halfway point of my pocket openings and nicely positions the openings for the 6” x 6” pockets on each side.I like the overall look of the jacket which comes across as a subtle Stars and Stripes theme with the graphical logo pattern for the stars and the piping standing in for the stripes. I like the subtle use of red and blue to add interest to the predominantly white material and that the designer added additional interest by using different color patterns for each sleeve. Branding is also fairly light touch with the graphical logo patterns on the sleeves, and the lettered and graphical brand on the right chest and collar hem tape. The overall quality and workmanship are good with vibrant colors, no visible runs or snags, good quality material, clean consistent stitching, and branded hem tape around the collar. I like that the sleeve patterns appear to have been sublimated into the fabric and expect they should hold up okay over time. That being said, the white panels in the front are slightly see-through such that you can see the cuts for the pockets and the front placket when wearing a darker shirt underneath. Other than that, care and maintenance have been fairly straightforward as I’ve machine washed the jacket inside out and then hung it to dry with no noticeable durability or color fading issues.All in all, this is a good quality team jacket with a nice clean design that I recommend as a nice everyday track jacket option.

This review is for ARENA Men's Team Relax Iv JacketThis is a very well made jacket. The polyester material is good quality and the sewing is well done. There are no loose threads. The jacket has a contemporary slim fit look. The sleeve details and back USA patch are high quality. The ARENA branding appears along the sleeves, a spot on the chest, on banding around the inside collar and on the zipper pull. It's incorporated in a stylish way and adds to the appeal of the jacket. It works well just out of the pool or out and about. There's a lot of versatility to this jacket.The outside material is a smooth, silky polyester with a subtle sheen, and the inside is a more felt like feeling polyester for comfort. There are two pockets big enough to hold a cellphone. The zipper is good quality and works very smoothly.The jacket looks great on and is very comfortable to wear. Use the size chart. I did, and it fits perfectly according to the size chart. I recommend this one.

I ordered this in the men’s small and it fits me Perfect! I usually wear a women’s medium and wanted this jacket, but they apparently only had it in men’s sizes at the time. This is a lighter jacket, it reminds me of the Adidas track jackets. The USA patches on the back look really classy and are nice and thick.

This Arena team jacket is excellent and I love it, Arena is one of the oldest athletics brands out there and I know their products very well, those that are involved in any kind of water sports know the brand as well. When I saw this jacket I immediately wanted to try it as I remember having a similar one back in the 80's and loved everything about it, I am glad that I was not wrong to order it as this one is just as good if not even better.The jacket comes in a simple plastic bag and you can see almost everything through it, the product label and some of the specs, so if you are picking it up at retail, you probably won't need to open it either. The jacket is great, the fit is perfect, I am 5.10'' and 185 Lbs and ordered size L, the length and width are ideal and maybe the sleeves are slightly longer, but nothing that will make me uncomfortable wearing it. The zipper is high quality YKK zipper with Arena logo pull tab making it look even better, the colors are great, very team USA orientated and the right side Arena logo is stitched in and not a screen print, so you know that will last a long time.Another retro element that I really like is the neck collar, it is the same style as varsity jackets and the logo piping on the sleeves are white for the right sleeve and red for the left sleeve, I love the contrast they made with this touch. The two front pockets are not zipper protected but are very comfortable and convenient, and last but not least, the bottom elastic band is very good as well, not too tight and not too loose.The only negative that I can mention here is the price, the asking price of $80 is just way too high, when on sale it drops down to around $50 which is a little more tolerable, but still high in my opinion.Overall, a great retro look with almost perfect fit.
