Bandai Tamashii Nations S.H. Figuarts Imperialdramon "Digimon" Action Figure

Where to begin... everything about Imperialdramon Fight Mode is spectacular!From the box art to the figure itself, Tamashii Nations have done it yet again. With the D-arts line gone (or merged), Digimon is now under S.H. Figuarts.Upon opening, there's another brown box. Yes, those brown boxes some figuarts come with. (For those who collect these). In the package, it includes all you need to get epic poses with Imperialdramon. Unlike Omegamon D-arts, this one does have a articulated display stand, similar to the Tamashii Stage acts 4-5. The figure is almost or the same size as the other Royal Knights; Omegamon and Dukemon D-arts (no, Imperialdramon is not a Royal Knight), but adding the wings makes it a bit more taller and wider. In other words, the figure looks overall bigger once the wings are added. The accessories are very nice and gives a lot more options to pose the figure. The articulation is pretty good, and the ball joints are stiff enough to pose any way you want to. The paint job is as good as ever, if not better.I'd highly recommend this figure, especially if you're a Digimon fan. If not, I'd still give it a shot as it looks epic up close in person. A solid 5/5.

I was expecting a lot when I bought this, being a part of the S.H. Figuarts line...but my, did it deliver on my expectations! (That doesn't usually happen!)Imperialdramon is extremely poseable, comes with excellent accessories, and is thoroughly detailed. He comes with a base which helps you to KEEP him in those grand poses you can get him into, and is wonderful to look at. You can get this figure into all kinds of positions that look completely natural, and if this line is among your Digimon faves...get this, it's very unlikely that you will regret it. It's fantastic.

It is technically outdated now though.

Digimon has always been one of those things where the monster designs are mesmerizing. Yet again, my wallet takes a straight jab with this slightly expensive Bandai Tamashii Nations Figure. I'd say it's totally worth it if you were ever a fan of the series, the only complaint is that this thing has some sharp edges. Seriously, I almost cut myself on the shoulder pads. Despite that, it has an unbelievable amount of articulation points. Like I said, only buy this item if you are a diehard fan of Digimon.

It is surprising that such a major Digimon figure such as Imperialdramon would remain at a [relatively] low price for so long; while Digimon Adventure's Omegamon and Digimon Tamers' Dukemon have skyrocketed to over $100, Digimon Adventure 02's Imperialdramon remains in stock at a solid $65, and I myself got it on sale for $40! I would probably attribute the availability of Imperialdramon to 02's infamy among fans, but the character himself looks awesome and the model meets expectations. The set comes with multiple sets of hands, a removable wrist cannon which can also be held using the proper hand set, and his chest cannon which can be attached if desired, plus a transparent stand which allows for some cool poses. It should be noted that this is a collectible for display purposes only, not an action figure; in addiction to being very expensive for a "toy," the model can be broken if not handled with care. It's also worth noting that I got the figure at a significant discount during a sale, and not everyone may want the model at its standard $65 price tag. That said, I personally am very satisfied with my purchase; the model looks as good in real life as in the pictures, and it didn't break while setting it up (his black shoulder guards can pop out of their sockets on accident, but don't panic, as they go right back in).

As good as, or better than the Gallantmon/Dukemon figure!I would consider this the best digimon figure I own at the present time.Pros:Feels solidly built, very posable, all the accessories you might hope for, incredible detail, superbly painted, all around superb figure at a super great price!Cons: Now I want all my figures to be this outstanding!

first of all it arrived packaged with another item but both arrived undamaged, so when I opened it up and went through each accessory that came with it, the one feature I was excited about didn't work and that was the chest cannon, which was suppose to connect to the chest using a little snap-on sort of bridge, but it was obviously snapped off.I'm not sure why it arrived like that, the product didn't show any other sign of damage or use so I don't know.It is a cool figure, can't go wrong with it, just disappointing in what I got.

Just Amazing

This is an absolutely beautiful piece. The attention to detail is unreal! If you are a collector the box is really nice for display and if you are some one like me who prefers to open and display and pose this figure is awesome. It comes with a a clear plastic sturdy stand to support the figure. S.H. Figuarts is some really high quality figures. This was my first S.H. Figuarts product and I loved it so much I've already ordered more. For any digimon fan I highly recommend this product!
